Once my friend Henry was accused of wearing wireless headphones by a substitute so she said for him to hand them over so he took them off and handed them to her. My experience working in fast food

So as of February 3 I quit my job as a graveyard worker at A&w that I have worked at for 6 months. My reason for leaving ( more the catalyst) I was assaulted by my coworker he hit me on the ass with a spatula ( he hit another female coworker before he hit me the same way) and all management did was talk to him. I handed in my months notice on February 2 nd less then five minuets after I was given a half ass apology from him that he didn’t mean. The night I quit I was to work with him, I had worked with him the night before and found his regular yelling and swearing overwhelming. So when I woke up to go to work I had a panic attack and a complete mental breakdown, after I calmed down ( thank you boyfriend for helping with that) I called and immediately quit my favourite manager was working and I thought maybe he will be understanding. Not a fucking chance the manager freaked out at me. I expected him to be mad as I finally was able to call in 2hrs before my next shift but already had the other graveyard member on his way to cover, but not to the extent of what happened as he made me quitting all about him. So when he decided to do that I gave it right back to him I told him while crying because at this point I was beyond pissed and mentally unstable, that I was tired of The person who hit me yelling and that nothing was being done so I was quitting. After having another panic attack and calmed down I felt worse about it. I do have another job as I’m not that insane as to quit without one and I filed a complaint with the government branch about the lack of response by management. None of the daily managers knew that I was assaulted, I don’t even think the owner of the place knew. Their going to now I’ll make sure of it, they have a policy in place that every employee has to sign that state any assault is grounds for immediate dismissal- not only did a book say this but the manager who got mad at me stated this. Did I mention I’m under the age of majority, ya this has become a nightmare I just want to go away. But after 6 months of being stepped on I’ve had enuff, I will not stand by and watch the asshole get away with hitting me and I certainly will hold the head management to what they claim they are to do. Before this I loved the General manager she’s such an nice lady she works way to hard and it’s cause health problems but I’m not going to take this anymore. I love most my coworkers, my favourite coworker unfortunately was the one walking in to cover for me (sorry Quinto I didn’t mean to chuck you into the fire) my every Sunday shift was spent smiling with him after I had to fix what the evening shift left me basically everything they were supposed to do. He understands why I left he’s mostly pissed at the person who hit me and sad I left ( he’s mad at me for the shit show but is being nice and not causing me more grief). I don’t want a reference from them ( I deserved one but I really don’t care anymore ) I don’t want the guy who hit me in jail or on any list (my mind can’t handle that on it) I just wanted the systems they put in place to work and be followed. I wanted to share because I’m not going to be silent and sweep it under the rug, even though I hate having people mad at me as it hurts me physically and this hurts like a gunshot. My mind can’t take the abuse of working there having this happen and then on top of it deal with rude ignorant customers, people who refuse to do their job and coworkers who actively sabotage others and make my life a living hell. But yay no more shit job right, I’ll update this when I get more information.

Last Wednesday, FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler announced a proposal for new rules that would allow for a “ fast lane” of Internet traffic for content providers who are willing (and able) to pay a fee. [1] The proposal reverses the FCC’s previous commitment to net neutrality and open internet and allows ISP’s like Comcast or Verizon to slow down and censor services that don’t pay the toll.

We have to be totally honest, this situation is seriously grim. But there is still hope. The FCC already knows that the Internet community wants net neutrality, but they think they can put their spin on these new rules and sneak them through. If we can prove them wrong right now with a massive public outcry, we can literally save the Internet once again.

We need to stop the FCC now. Big business groups are already ramping up lobbying efforts with the FCC in swarms since Wednesday’s announcement in support of censoring the open Internet and to ensure this dangerous proposal moves forward. [2]

This is a critical moment. In the last few weeks more than 65,000 people have taken action with us. Can you help us get to 80,000 by the end of the day today?
