calms me down

It has been an exhausting day. you couldn't focus on your classes today, you don't even understand what the teachers are saying. let's just say you haven't get enough sleep for the past two days, only because you can't stop worrying about your beloved person in your life who haven't met or atleast talked for the last two days. it seems like not a big deal, but you actually feel empty without his presence— even for a while. he is not sure if he can go back this weekend. you really missed his hugs whenever you just returned home, his smile when you tell him you did well the whole day, and his giggles when you tell him something funny happened earlier the day.

After you walked through the living room, you went to your bedroom, wishing to find him laying on the bed— but of course, he is not there since he is busy with his work. you sit on the bed and slowly closing your eyes, hoping this tiredness will disappear. "sorry for making you waiting for so long". his voice warms your heart. you suddenly open your eyes and found him give you a back hug. you don't immediately respond to what he said earlier, instead you were feeling the hug for a while. he is your safe place.

"it was a rough day at work, but i managed to clear it soon enough". Tenma said while caressing your hair. "how was college?" he asked with his warm smile. you begin to tell him how you are feeling these days. he stared at your eyes the whole time. "it must be very tough, i'm sorry for making you feel like this". Tenma pulled for a hug after. You can tell he feels bad for not spending more time with you, but you totally understand that it is his job to help his patients anytime the hospital needs him.

You are let out a few tears and Tenma noticed that you are crying. "it's fine love, i am here now. you are safe with me". he said while caressing your hair. you lay on his chest and could hear his heartbeat and his breath rhythm, you find it relaxing. you give him a kiss on his forehead for a quite long time. "thank you for your hard work". Tenma immediately gave the eye smile as a response. later he also gave you a kiss on your forehead, "i'm so proud of you for going through these tough days". a warm smile grows on your face.
