Vikingo (c) vs. Chad Gable @ AAA x WWE Worlds Collide for AAA Mega Championship

I have been a massive Gable fan since his days in NXT in American Alpha, suffered through nonsense like Shorty G and years of him being irrelevant to WWE - and in 2025, he is being recognized as one of the best grapplers in the company. However, he can't beat a luchador without cheating - no matter what he did, he could not rip the AAA Mega Championship away from the insanely talented ace of AAA, Vikingo.

This match felt like the peak of NXT, an insane match from two of the best in the world, paced to perfection and infront of a hot as hell crowd. Great grappling, incredible high spots, and lots of drama to be found. Gable played a perfect heel, Vikingo a valiant babyface, and together they created an instant classic that feels far from the typical WWE style of match.

Vikingo with a win here declared that even if WWE bought AAA, they won't walk in and take the top prize on their first attempt - even when they send one of their best grapplers.
