Pulled a bit of a disappearing act aha
I don't really know the last time I posted on her but I've been in a hug reading slump. I'm still currently reading loveless by Alice Oseman and I've started getting back into it proper aha. I ended up in hospital July 1st and got out on July 11th I believe. I'm not 100% sure about the date I got out but I know the July 1st is right. It's kind of hard to forget when you start your month in the hospital. I will try to get back to posting atleast semi regularly. I'm currently on page 220 as I'm typing this :)

Books I read in March 2023 馃摎
1. Radio Silence - Alice Oseman
2. I Was Born For This - Alice Oseman
Books Read: 2
Pages read: 750
This month hasn't been the best for reading and I'm somewhat disappointed, however it's not been a good month for my health so i shouldn't blame myself too much. I'm currently reading "Loveless" by Alice Oseman and then after that I'm reading "the cruel prince" series. I am also 3 books ahead of my yearly target which is 50 books :)

I feel like if you're an Alice Oseman fan. You're either team solitaire, or team I was born for this.
I personally like both however I have to go with solitaire. People say it's unpolished and that there's no key plot until about half way through, but I like that because to me it makes it more like real life

I've just finished 'I was born for this' and holy, wow. Not what I expected. Personally not my favourite by Alice Oseman, it took me a bit to get into it however it's still a good book, a solid 3/5 in my opinion

I have a notebook that I write up my book, show and film reviews in and I am tempted to just write up the reviews from that instead of trying to reword them for this aha. I would just post pictures but my handwriting isn't the greatest. I will possibly post pictures along with typing up the review so it's definitely legible hehe :)

Page 129 of "I was born for this". I've finally got some time to sit and read. Nothing else to do or think about hehe. I'm hoping to finish "I was born for this" soon then I can hopefully also try and finish "Loveless" and have read at least two books this month

I am really bad at blogging. I really want to do it more, like posting everyday and about my daily life but I feel so awkward, I don't know aha. But if I disappear a for a little bit I'm not completely gone, I'm just reading a book and don't know what to say. I'm currently also going through my books and donating the ones I've read (I'm keeping some of them) and yeah aha. I'm going to read my friends books first. She's lent me "The cruel prince" series and I've lent her the "shatter me" series. I don't know if they have a different name but that's what I know them by aha. I need to upload more book reviews that's be an idea aha. Yeah I don't know what this post is anymore. I'm still reading "I was born for this" by alice Oseman however it's been a pretty busy few weeks, I may do a post about that because I've been to 2 concerts and I'm at a comedy show tonight which is gonna be fun :)

I finished reading "Radio silence" and I've now moved on to "I was born for this", and it's good but I just can't get into the characters in the same way I could with Alice Oseman's books. I'm still finishing it, I refuse to leave a book unread even if it takes me months (literally, I've done that before). I will likely get more into it the more I read. I hope. The book is amazing it truly is, it's just something about the characters I'm not fully sure

Books I read in February 2023 :)
1. Heartstopper 1 - Alice Oseman
2. Heartstopper 2 - Alice Oseman
3. Heartstopper 3 - Alice Oseman
4. Heartstopper 4 - Alice Oseman
5. This Winter - Alice Oseman
6. Solitaire - Alice Oseman
7. Nick and Charlie - Alice Oseman
8. Heartstopper Yearbook- Alice Oseman
Total number of books: 8
Total number of pages: 2,569
I am currently reading radio silence (on page 227), it's a very good book. I read heartstopper a couple years back when it first came out, I borrowed the books from a friend. However for Christmas 2022 I asked for the Alice Oseman books as my main present. I love their writing style as an author and also her art style when it comes to her graphic novels. After radio silence I also have "I was born for this" and "Loveless. Out of the Alice Oseman books I have read so far, I think solitaire has to be my favourite, however I think once I've finished radio silence that may become my number 1

I've tested positive for COVID so there is a chance I won't be able to post much. I already have physical disabilities and struggle for energy and this is making it so much worse however I will still try and update because I have so much to say

Introduction :)
Hi my name's Ashton, and this will be my book blog I guess. I'm 17, I LOVE reading and I kind of always have done but more so during lockdown it has become a bigger interest. I am from the UK, I'm 17, I also love cats and crocheting. I go by he/they pronouns. I think that's about it for an introduction? I don't really know what to say I'm not great with introductions

Books I read in January 2023 :)
1. I Can Has Cheezburger - LOLcat
2. I Could Pee On This And Other Poems By Cats - Francesco Marciuliano
3. The Odd 1s Out How to be cool and other things I definitely learned from growing up - James Rallison
4. The Climate Book - Greta Thunberg
Total number of books: 4
Total number of pages: 1,417
I have just come out of a massive reading slump so I decided to read some books I've had for a long while, along with 'The Climate Book' by Greta Thunberg which I got for Christmas and was a very interesting read. Very heavy and at times difficult to process, however was very much worth the read. I will write individual reviews on the books :)
