Choking as he takes a sip of what he thinks is his drink, he pulls the glass away, "Oh, oh...my god, what even is this? Dieses Getränk ist schmutzig." Bevan grimaces as he swallows the offending beverage, placing the glass down as far away from him as he can. "It has the texture of swallowing rocks. What-what are these? There is seeds in this."

"We'll see about that, I'm probably capable, but  I might call you for moral support if I ever have to do it myself."  Bevan was sure that he was capable. Was he willing? Eh. Their reaction was, well... expected, “Oh, I am aware. Have you ever been to Organica? Their usual crowd doesn’t seem into washing their clothes, or taking showers.” Bevan liked their menu, but that was about it.

“Speaking as someone who’s done it before it’s actually very simple to do and not at all dangerous in my experience.” They winced a bit at the noise he made, but still retained their smile and raised their eyebrow at the revelation of it being fourteen. “Fourteen? That is an impressive amount of Joggers, I have to admit, but I also agree that that’s probably too long to go not having done laundry. Though, and I don’t know if it’ll make you feel better, but I don’t think that’s the longest someone’s gone without doing laundry.”

Bevan shrugged a little, realizing that even if he had needed a flashlight instead, he couldn’t have helped him with that either. "I know it’s not the same, but I could offer you a drink?“

Nick’s jaw set. He tucked the cigarette behind his ear and pushed himself off the wall. “Then what good are you to me?”

"No, I'm sorry." Bevan replied, frowning. "I do not have fire."

Nick let out a sigh as he looked over her. “Yeah, I mean fire. I need to smoke this. Immediately.” He gave the best smile he could muster under the circumstances. “So, can you help me out or not?”

Bevan stared at the man for a moment, evaluating the situation, "Do you mean fire?" he asked, carefully addressing the man's needs. The man was holding a cigarette, but Bevan wasn’t going to make assumptions. He could have needed a flashlight. English could be confusing. 

Clicking his lighter a few times, it still refused to catch. Nick cursed under his breath as he shook it. Empty. Looking around, he caught the eye of someone close. “Got a light?” It was more conversation than he wanted to have, but he was the grieving nephew and communication was part of that.

"I want to say that I am more than capable of changing a light-bulb, but I have never had to do it myself. So they might actually be saving my life." Bevan sucked in air through his teeth, wincing as he heard their suggestion, "I'd feel slightly less embarrassed if it were twelve, but it's actually fourteen. I haven't done laundry in literally two weeks. It is so appalling to hear it out loud."

“You couldn’t possibly… could you?” they gave him a curious look, unsure if that was a joke or not. “I know it’d bother me, but… even if it doesn’t bother you, it still doesn’t feel right to me. What precisely is an unreasonable amount of Joggers? Twelve? Is it twelve?”

"Have you ever had cheese on popcorn? I know that they make cheddar popcorn, but I am speaking about Nacho cheese on popcorn. It is too spicy for me, yet if you can stomach it..." It burned the hell out of his throat the last time he tried, but it was still worth mentioning to someone else. "A potato is vegan, it is healthy... natural. I dare anyone to fight me about the quality of a potato.”

“Good. I’m glad you agree, that’s comforting that I probably won’t one day hate smothering things in cheese.” Rain laughed brightly. “Oh, I’ll have to try dipping them in ranch. I never even thought of that.” Rain shrugged, still smiling. “I have no idea. I like potatoes! I wouldn’t blame you, and no one can say anything about bringing your own.”

Bevan laughed nervously, "No, no. I adore your work." He shook his head, perhaps a little too dramatically, "No, I am not an actor. I am coming to you as a fan only." The last thing Bevan wanted was for Freddie to think he was trying to get into one of his plays. "I happened to see two of your plays while I was visiting Los Angeles before. I was a bit younger, though." Bevan smile softly, "Well, I cannot make promises,” quietly, “but I could probably get you two a front row seat."

Freddie let out a dry laugh and nodded. So his guess wasn’t wrong after all. “Well, I hope you enjoy my work rather than, you know, the alternative,” he said with a smile, “I’m assuming your an actor of some sorts?” Freddie laughed though he winced in sympathy pain once he thought through Bevan’s comment. That was the other reason he would probably never do drag. “Maybe. It’s been a long time since we’ve gone out like that for a night,” Perhaps Brody would find it exciting.

"That is very truthful. I have yet to eat something covered in cheese that was not at least made better by having cheese on it. I like to dip them in ranch, but yes, they are also good on their own.”  Bevan nearly gasped, "But what is the matter with a good old fashioned potato? I'll bring my own potato.” 

“Fair enough! I’m learning it’s hard to go wrong with cheese covered anything. Snap peas are good in anything, I could just sit and eat a bag of those like popcorn. I have, actually. Oh, yeah, my mom is actually guilty of that. Mashed cauliflower is her go to side dish.”

"I will eat broccoli if it is covered in cheese! Oh, yes. I will say that snap peas are good. If they are in a stir fry then that is the best, but I will eat them on their own as well. I do not care how healthy people claim it to be, I will not eat cauliflower. That is where I absolutely draw the line. When people tell me that it’s good for mashed potatoes? No. Obviously they are full of lies.”

“Vegetables get a bad rep, but they’re definitely subpar to cupcakes or something. Carrots are pretty great. I’m pretty partial to broccoli myself. Oh, and snap peas!”
