Been having thoughts about post-akeshu in almost a Schrodinger's cat way. Post engine room Ren, who just keeps going, who doesn't really let himself think about what happened to Akechi. Post canon Ren who returns to Tokyo, who sees beige blazers and brown hair in his peripheral and never turns his head. Ren, who wants to look away, who doesn't want to know what happened.

Nini Needs Help

I have had Nini for ten years; we found her abandoned on my college campus as a kitten a week after Valentine's Day, and she has been my closest companion ever since. She loves me more than anything else in the world (including food!) and had already survived having her eye removed due to a melanoma last December.

On July 13, I took her in to the ER vet due to a poor appetite and what felt like a bit of abdominal swelling. Two vet visits and 36 hours later, her prognosis is that her liver is filled with small, round tumors. I am fighting to keep her alive until I can take her to the specialist 2 hours away next week, and I am running out of my savings.

If you can donate a little bit of money (or even fanart of my dear sweet baby - no A I please) I would sincerely appreciate it. Today has been a blur of panic attacks and waiting for follow up info from the vet, and I don't know how long she has left.

I think I made this exact post before but every few months on social media someone will be like “OMGGGGGG I FOUND BONES BURIED IN MY CELLAR. I JUST CALLED THE COPS.” and the bones are so visibly (weathered) butchered cow bones or small animal bones. Not a single time is it a ‘they could be human…’ incident. Totally not the poster’s fault because I doubt the majority of people know human skeletal anatomy. Were people 120 years ago burying the remains of their barbecue rib dinner in the dirt floor of the cellar to freak people out in the future or something? No, but like, it seems like packing your walls and floors with trash was so common until like 30 years ago.
