A snort from the octomer as he let one gloved hand rest in Floyd's hair, a mock scowl on his face, absently brushing his fingers through the other's hair. "Did you miss me?"

"I suppose that's true." Riddle nodded slightly and played with his glass for a few moments. Before a thought struck him and he peered at the bartender with a hint of a gentle smile on his face.

"i've heard from Tem that you're training to be a knight. Does that include... Horses?" he prodded gently. He loved the idea of being able to share his love of horses, weather that be a new comer to them or an old pro, and hoped that in his co worker, he had found someone he could whip out his phone and show off his selection of Vorpal photos to!!

A twitch of his lips at her statement, and a rueful shake of his head.he accepted the second drink, gaze only switching to watch Josephine as she made a pleased noise at MAddox’s gift before looking back at Phoebe.

“I’d think anyone would wonder about how another school is run and it’s inner workings. One day Id like to learn about the school you and the other girls go to, if I’m quite honest.”

"Maybe for some people, but not me. Like I said why talk school when we don't need to?" She points out leaning against the counter again. "Gets kinda boring after a while in my opinion, I mean, aside from a few things here and there how different can schools really be from one another in the end?" She notes with a small shrug and wave of a hand.

"Oh... he never mentioned that to you?" Tem frowned slightly. "Yea, its ,mostly first and second years that are into it. Zavi used to take lessons from him when he had the free time and was pretty good at it. But ever since his NRC Transfer..." a quiet sigh as she prodded her drink.

She understood her wording hadn't quite been right, and that she could have done it better, a quick glance told her that the other wasn't too mad, so she shifted the subject to something a little more safer.

"i miss having him in the dorm. I dunno what got everyone's britches in a bunch!! Its not like Zavi disn't mean any harm, or left his messes for other's ta go an' clean up! He always took accountability for his messes and mix ups, and there was never tha' much damage done long term to no body!" and cue her cheeks puffing up like a fishes.

“You know, i could always see about setting up a meeting between you and Julyan! He teaches a lot of first-years on campus how to do sword fighting. He might be able to test you out properly.”

A happy hum as she accepted the second round of tea, swishing it about properly, shutting her eyes and gave a pleased noise after swallowing the liquid down.

“This was a good one. not to sweet and a good balance of acidity with the mango to counteract what the pineapple brings!”

A pause in mid-cut as Phoebe lets out a small sigh. Carefully putting the knife down for now she makes a quick note on her notepad before turning to face Tem for a moment. “Actually, I’ve already met Julyan, he’s come by here a few times. Though he’s never mentioned anything about teaching any first years.” She notes with a small shrug before continuing. “And I appreciate the intent but I don’t need to be ‘tested out’.”

Turning back towards the counter again she picks up the knife and starts cutting into the next fruit maybe a tad more aggressively then necessary. She understood that Tem probably hadn’t meant what she said in the way it came off but it was something Phoebe was sick of hearing by this point. She didn’t need to prove herself to any guy, she already knew she was just as if not better than most already. Sure she’d never claim to be the best but what did it matter?

A slow, lazy smile rippled across the females face before a change spread out. One moment there was a beautiful woman before him...

And there there was him.

All six foot two, light blue eyes charming and devilishly little smile on his face, looking fully at ease.

But... the sameness didn't stop there. Somehow, someway that couldn't be explained even the magic under his now mirror image felt just like his. Even the smell that he bore was copied!!

This was a perfect clone.

And when she.. he? Himself open their lips and spoke? Perfection of tone, accent and pitch!

"How about you and I play a game of seeing how long it'd take for someone to tell us apart? You give me what I need to know and we'll see how long it goes."

But it’s not my fault their shape-shifting is such shit that if they’d tried they’d be stuck somewhere between human and animal and the last thing I want to do is go over how to reverse that magic for the thousandth and one time.” A bit of an eye roll from Darcy as she recalled Stormy and Icy’s little temper tantrum the other night over that botched little surprise.

A light sigh as arms fall so he could rest a hand on his hip as the other brushes the hair that had fallen back over his shoulder. “Well that doesn’t help to narrow things down at all.” However, the shapeshifting, that was an oddity. Sure, a certain shapeshifting cat was able to sneak on campus in such a manner but Saul hadn’t heard of anyone else being able to do such a thing. At least not so naturally as the cat did anyway.

But, all in all none of this really mattered. The important thing came down to figuring out how to deal with this intruder. And there were just far too many options to choose from. “Surely you could give me something to work with. Else I’ll just pick something and it might not be so favorable.” Not that any option would be, for her anyway, but that was beside the point.

“And the students here during the day were barely any better. Modeled after such motivated and devilish people, but they’re all boring limp noodles. the most those fools would do is swindle and steal some chumps lunch. Boring! Where’s the fun in this world meant to be?”

A light hum leaves the witch as arms cross over one another. “Guess that would depend on you definition of ‘fun’ now wouldn’t it?” He notes, head tilting slightly prompting some of his hair to fall over his shoulder. “After all my sort of fun could be very different from yours and the same can be said for the other way around.” He points out, finger starting to tap lightly against his arm.

But how curious, she’d been to the other school had she? Based upon what he was sensing from her he wondered just how she’d even been able to take a single step onto that campus.

Rather than try and press her point, Lumine fell silent and fiddled with her straw. She had always felt that she didn't need to close her emotions off towards her twin sibling but.. that had been before her brother had started attending school, branching out to others. Perhaps it was time to start closing off even to her twin if he was becoming so engrossed with others that he disliked the idea of her not liking them. carefully she twisted the straw in the lid, watching the ice and boba pearls moving about.

Sevens, she just wanted things to be the same again. Traveling with no roots to hold them down.....

"I'm sure everyone will do fine at the concert Aether."

A pout from Lumine at her brother’s nonreaction to her hip bump! Honestly, was Ae made of stone half the time? Another slurp of her boba as she thought of what to say, popping the straw free.

“Ae, I’m sure he’s a nice enough little dude. I’m sure he’s very polite and sweet and so on and so forth, but that doesn’t mean I’m obligated to like the dude’s music style you know? I’m not obligated to be like…” Lumine paused and focused on trying to frame this the right way.

“Also, it’ll be unique to see if the head mage does much of anything. ISn’t he like… always away on trips or something? Its more like the teachers and the perfects are the ones in charge.”

When you have people like Felix and a few of the others at Royal Sword for rough-housing and practicing Spelldrive, a little smack of her hip against him isn’t all too much of a problem. Hearing that response, however–He’s drawing his arm back to his side and exhaling a little bit.

“I never said you had to like his music or the assumption you have of him, I just said not to make a face like that just from me saying his name. You’re already being rude without even meeting him, Lumine.”

Shrugging his shoulders absentmindedly, though there’s clearly a degree of tension now–Gilded eyes flicker towards the crowds already beginning to line up in advance for the concert. That’ll certainly put some pressure on Neige, Dominic, and the others–But they’re up for the challenge, he knows his underclassmen well enough.

“I wouldn’t know, Headmaster Ambrose has never done things that way.”

A smile across Inko's face at the mention of how smart her child was! She leaned forward and spoke quickly.

"he is pretty smart, isn't he? honestly, you should see the pile of notebooks he has! He's been looking over quirks, analyzing them and how to improve on their uses ever since he was a little boy and watching the hero's on the news. Watching his pencil fly across the paper, and seeing his handwriting improve day after day, and the ideas that would just flow from him.."

Inko drummed her fingers on the handbag in her lap, looking so happy to talk to someone who respected her child for what he could bring to the table!

Inko had heard all the stories, and knew the other was a bit gruff on the outside.. but he truly did care about the kids, and wanted what was best for them. If there was anyone in this school that she could depend on to do right by those two, it'd be him.

"I do hear you have a very high rate of failing in this class. People tend to talk a little bit more than they should. My izuku was such a late bloomer in getting his quirk that... it honestly worried me how well he might be able to do in this school if I'm honest."

At the others lack of names, a tiny smile crossed Riddle's lips, glad to know he wasn't the only one flailing about to try and land on a name. Honestly, if Deuce could keep his grades up a bit, he might have been in the running. But with how he struggled? riddle couldn't reasonably add another load to the others plate.

"Worse come to worse, i'll simply follow in Idia and Leona's foot steps and lead on my own."

Quietly Riddled fiddled with his pen, clicking it over and over again, wondering how to phrase this. He didn't want to put too heavy a task on the other's shoulder, but..

"Well, the fact is, Trey, is going to be going onto his 4th year soon, which means internships. That... means I'm going to have to fill the Vice Wardan's seat come Spring. and then I'm going to have to plan on a new house warden for my own 4th year. they're both very important roles, you know?"
