I love starting my day with the heavy metal detox smoothie in a bowl with delicious dried fruit toppings. My journey with healing began in 2014 and changed when I found @medicalmedium in September 2017. I had just come back from a trip and when I returned home my eczema flared. I was reliant on my topical steroids at the time, immune suppressing drugs, and was devastated that I had another flare. I sat on a prayer rug, asking god for help, and stumbled upon @medicalmedium podcast discussing the root cause of eczema and acne and was intrigued. In the month that have followed, I have revamped my diet taking out dairy, gluten, corn, canola oil, and eggs and have added in a bunch of the good stuff like an abundance of fruits and vegetables and celery juice. I have stopped using steroids and other drugs like Advil. The journey has been tough, with many ups and downs. I have restored faith in fruits instead of fearing them for the sugar. I believe my body can and will heal and is doing everything it can to thrive and survive. My skin is a work in progress but I intuitively know I am moving in the right direction and time and patience is what is needed. With a heart full of gratitude, thank you Anthony and the amazing community here for helping me on this journey of healing. ❤️❤️❤️#berrychallenge #medicalmedium #medicalmediumberrychallenge (at Photography by Asiya)

One of the amazing recipes I learned when I was studying raw food in Bali were these delicious rainbow rolls. I loved that they were packed with so many colorful vegetables. The dipping sauce is honestly to die for yum! Hope you enjoy these as much as I do! Let me know if you end up making them. A huge thank you to my wonderful teacher at @rawfoodbali Mathias! Brunch reimagined...raw. Today I invited family over for brunch. As most of you who follow my feed know, I ate raw for 28 days straight this Ramadhan following the #28daycleanse by @medicalmedium in an effort to improve eczema and acne I have battled with for so long. The result was an energy filled #RAWmadan. I ended the month feeling truly detoxed spiritually, mentally, and physically. I find myself more positive and patient and full of compassion and gratitude. Inflammation I have battled with for so long seems to have vanished and the acne is almost gone. The eczema is still healing but I feel I am doing the right protocols and I just need more time for it too to be fully gone from my system. Although the cleanse is officially over, I am continuing with mainly raw eating with some cooked foods when I am out in social gatherings. I wanted to share how raw food can be nutritious, delicious, and so healing for the body so I invited family over to try a fully raw meal. I prepared three fruit smoothies- @nutritionstripped avocado spinach ginger banana, wild blueberry cilantro #heavymetaldetoxsmoothie and banana avocado mango ginger smoothie- all were delicious, filling, and packed with nutrients. For toppings, I chose fresh berries, granola, and dried coconut. I also prepared two varieties of zucchini noodles, a mint Alfredo recipe from @fullyrawkristina page and a basil spinach pesto which I just made intuitively without a recipe. Wish you all could have come over to share this meal with my family. ❤️❤️❤️ (at Edgewater, New Jersey)

Starting off the day right with these easy to make smoothie bowls. I used @nutritionstripped avocado ginger spinach banana date smoothie as the base and topped it with banana slices and @purely_elizabeth granola. Yum! (at Edgewater, New Jersey)
