Today - or yesterday, I suppose - was really weird. Sundays are weird in general, but today was extra weird. I slept pretty much the entire day, which was nice, but now it's dark and I'm awake and - OH MY GOD A BAT!

Today has been good so far!I saw a tiny baby and caught a really big rat, so I got lots to eat, and it's really warm outside so there are lots of lizards to chase.

Some of the kaiju are acting weird though. Really weird. Sundays are weird around here. I think I'll stay close to home. Again. ^-.-^

There's shaking in the woods tonight. Must stay in the den, where it's safe. Big Ones are fighting, I think. The mushroom thing, and something else very big. Screaming and slamming. The ground is shaking.

I wish there were more cats here. But no, I had to get dumped here by some little brat! Stupid human. Who leave a kitten in a place full of kaiju?

Woop - more fighting. Yes, staying in the den or the night sounds nice, very nice.

The cat's eyes widen when the second mouth extends, and she resists the urge to bat at it with her paw. That would be bad, she decides. "You probably can't talk," she muses, lashing her tail once in frustration. "So many neighbors, so little speaking." She thinks for a moment, tilting her head back and forth, until an idea strikes. "I know!" she exclaims, leaping to her feet and bouncing in place. "I could only ask yes-no question! You could tap a foot or lash your tail, once for yes, twice for no!" A little purr begins in her chest as she basks in her own cleverness, as cats do from time to time.

The cat leaps onto a rock so she can be closer to head-level with the creature. She sniffs, tilting her head, and sits down with her tail curled over her paws. "What are you?" she asks.

little black fur thing is on a rock now. staring almost as intently as the object of its gaze.

tonguemouth extends. breathes in.

the buzzing returns.

it recoils at first—has the white one returned?—but recovers quickly.

what is it? the fur thing wants to knowbut it can’t answer.

it is what it is. what is there to explain, if it is even capable of giving explanation?

The cat narrows her eyes, considering. "You're weird," she finally says, an air of finality about her. "All kaiju are weird, though. Still warm and snugly sometimes. But weird." She turns to leave, trotting off back towards her home. "Let me know if you ever have any vermin problems! Very yummy, yes. Just a trot that ways by the rock pile."

A black cat slinks towards the entrance of your home, ears perked and tail twitching. She's been hearing lots of noise from this direction lately. She meows once, a short "hello?" and waits.

Gimontig, frustrated with the Fungal Fucker From Zepton Five, tromps away from the beast, only to hear a meow near the burrow entrance. He looked at the source of the noise only to see a feline of sorts.

"Uh…d-did you just…talk?"

The cat grimaces, shaking her fur out. "Bleck. Those ones taste funny." She sits, leaning her head back to get a better look at her neighbor. "Are you here by yourself? That's an awfully big den for one alone. My den is a little caved-in pile of rocks, very cozy. Yours looks cozy, but I guess it's hard to tell, you being so large as all."

The cat tilts her head. "Yes," she meows. "I think so, if you heard me say 'hello.' Do you live here?" She asks, sniffing in his general direction. "Smells like it. Smells like bugs, too. Bug are yummy. Are they the squishy kind or the crunchy kind?"

awww look coby! a black cat. *coby chirps then gets a closer look*

The cat flicks her ears, looking up form her spot sunning on the rocks outside her den. Hm. She lets out a short "mrrrow" and wanders over to but her head against her visitors.

It is very nice here, yes. Very nice. Lots of mice and little birds and lizards. The lizards like to sun just outside of my little den, which is nice for snacks. I hear big things wandering about often, though. Sometimes they change shape, which is odd. There is a new one, big and black and shiny, and one that has mushrooms on it. I like them. They're warm and big.

I am a Black Cat. I like THINGS! Like mice. And pretty birds! And kaiju. Kaiju are large and warm, and sometimes they let you nap on them! Don't like mean people who think I'm bad luck though... HEY LOOK A BIRD!

The cat considers, twitching and ear. "Home. Home is a thing, yes? I like home. Little burrow in the rocks, with soft dirt on the floor.  Good for naps."
