honestly tho it is hilarious how before we got the third subclasses no one really knew how guardians developed them (we still don’t lbrh) but when Nightstalker, Stormcaller, and Sunbreaker came out the Vanguard gave everyone missions related to it

Like Ikora sent you out there specifically to learn how to be Stormcaller

Cayde sent you go to find a dude, turned out he died, and then asked you to become a Nightstalker in that dude’s death because there aren’t many left. You literally pick up a ball of void and Cayde says something like “Make it your own” Which is really cool tbh

And Zavala is just “yea there’s this group of Mercenary Titans living out in Mercury, go talk to them” and then they make you a Sunbreaker just like that and you fuck off and never see or speak of them again

weird headcanon of the day

okay so my Titan played Halo and died before Halo 5 released in 2015 and at first I was like “he didn’t miss much lmao” but it got me thinking

he never played Destiny because for the videogame to exist and to predict exactly what would happen centuries in the future would be pretty fucking crazy and also it would be suuuuper meta if my Titan played Destiny before he actually lived it out himself 

so if Bungie never made Destiny… they might still have been with Halo.

which means in the Destiny universe, Halo 5 didn’t suck.
