What do you think the kids Hogwarts houses are?

Lily and Kid are true ravenclaws and Billy is for sure a hufflepuff. Nugget was hard, but I think he'd be in hufflepuff too. Cindy and Monty are slytherins hands down. Buggs is slytherin, could probably be a hufflepuff though, I can see it. He probably asked the hat to sort him into slytherin because he wanted to be seen as "tough" or didn't want to be in the same one as Nugget. Jerome is definitely a gryffindor, but I could also see him as a ravenclaw. He also probably asked the hat because he thinks ravenclaw is for nerds.

Hey, long time no see huh? I’m alive and I’ll hopefully get this blog to be at least somewhat active within the next few weeks. That's really all you need to know but I feel like I owe you guys an explanation so I’ll put this under keep reading.  

I’d been in an accident around the last time I updated, and well long story short I lost someone very dear to me, and I had lost interest and motivation to do really anything. Recently I’ve been working really hard to try to move on, and well when I first created this blog I was really happy. This blog brought some joy in me and I think it would be good for me to pick it back up. I’m going to apologize in advance because I’m sure updates are going to be slow and probably sub par for a while because I haven’t really doodled or socialized, neither online or in real life. My first priority however is school, because I really let my grades drop down really low, and that's just not like me at all. But, I am confident that I can get back up and work through this.

Not Dead!

But school sure has me halfdead! I didn't get to update as much as I wanted to over their summer, I'm sorry. School started and I took up five AP classes...it was a mistake...

I am slowly getting used to it however, so hopefully I'll be able to update while I'm in school. I want to at least get some asks done this month, we'll see, just know updates will be slow.

I also want to seriously thank you guys for being patient with me! This blog keeps growing even while I'm gone! Just about four more followers away from 400! You guys are really the best, thank you for supporting me!

Jerome: I don’t really like Cindy. She’s so annoying because she never stops talking and she keep’s asking me to be her boyfriend, yeah she’s kinda pretty but I keep saying no and she still keeps asking. She also thinks she’s the best in the whole class, which is so not true, because I’m the best one!

Cindy: Buggs is gross! He’s also very violent, disobedient, and has bad manners, things that are very bad boyfriend qualities! But compared to the others, he’s way cooler. Which isn’t saying much considering the others are ugly LIly, missing Billy, freaky Nugget, new kid, and four eyes.

Buggs: Jerome is a spoiled kid that can get away with anything because he’s the principle’s kid, meanwhile I get punished just for breathing. Sure it’s handy being his friend sometimes, and he is cooler than the others in class, but someone needs to knock him down a peg because he won’t stop bragging about himself.

Jerome: I watched fireworks from my backyard, there were lots of colorful ones.

Buggs: My brother brought snap n pops and we threw them everywhere, even at people.

Brief Hiatus

Hello! I know I've had like MONTHS of not updating before but..., at least this time I’m letting you know ahead of time! Anyway, I’ll be going on vacation with family for two weeks! I’ll see you soon, in the mean time, have a Billy!

Aww, I’m flattered that you wanted to ask lil ol me a question. I’ll put this under read more for those who don’t want to see my rambling.

 Honestly though, I don’t really consider myself an artist, I draw for fun and for stress relieving, I don't take it seriously or seek to constantly improve like some of the great artists I’ve seen. But! I do have several different art styles I love playing with! here’s a few quick examples I whipped up.

Haha, can you tell which one took the least amount of effort? That's the one I use for this blog, because it’s the easiest and quickest one.

I really don’t know how to explain my style, I just picked up a pencil and starting drawing with characteristics I’ve seen other artists use, like childhood cartoons. But also I like really simplistic things, (as you can probably tell), and it reflects into my art, because that's exactly what it is. Simple, quick shapes and lines.

I usually don’t sketch, I just draw the shapes and connect them, but sometimes when I have to do a pose or when there’s more then one character, I do. For the purpose of explaining, I’ll try to visualize my process.

So I always start out with the shapes, which equals to the head and body in the general position I want them to be in. Then I just use flowy lines for the appendages and just to add more structure to the body. After all that I just add any details I need that distinguishes the character, like their hair, face, or any details on their clothing (stripes, words, dots, creases, etc.)

Full disclaimer, I am not an artist, this is just a fun hobby for me that relaxes me, I am by no means a professional or have any idea what I’m doing. As you could tell by now, I just doodle what I think looks good.

As for my favorite character to draw, Cindy! Why? Because she’s pretty and the easiest to draw, she takes like ten seconds. Which one I dislike...Nugget. I love him! But his hair is too disorderly for me, and his shirt is plaid, which is pretty difficult to make look decent.The kid’s designs are also the simplest they can be, I really just based it off what I see them wearing in the game along with things I see kids on real life wearing.
