No you fuckin smoothbrain it's been stated time and time again that the difference between the Dark Future timeline and our timeline is us. We're the variable. We went and destroyed the Black Heart, we went and did all those guardian things, we mastered Stasis without getting tempted by the whispers in the dark. AND WE HELPED ERIS PROCESS HER TRAUMA IN SHADOWKEEP.

She even states it in the new seasonal activity, Elsie is scared that Eris will lose herself just like the other timelines and Eris herself reassures her that this time she is not alone, and that is enough to understand. Eris is gonna come back from this. I swear every time the story pivots to her the community just repeats the same "Eris is going to turn evil" garbage and I will not stand for this slander.

“Well, I have gotten back into carving.” She glances around her home, full of all kinds of trinkets, from the most cryptic to a few silly, innocent keepsakes. “I am a collector. As any hunter, I enjoy exploration. Back when I was younger, I had a tendency to weave out accesories out of dried stalks, leaves, and flowers. I used to enjoy making furnishings out of things I’d found out in my travels. Now, not so much.”

She stares at the pile, weighing it in her hands and staring down at it. A pile of pure sugar, something that would surely rot someone’s teeth if they had enough of it. Too sweet. 

Still, there was a certain gratitude that exuded her. She placed the bag next to her alarm on her night stand. She chuckled at it, lightly through her nose.  “Happy Dawning to you too, Maya.”

“I didn’t have it commissioned. I customized it myself.” Her answer was quick and curt.

She didn’t really laugh, but if you paid attention, you might have seen the corner of her lip twitch a bit, and her expression seemed to soften just the slightest.

I'm surprised we haven't seen more hive reinforcements, you'd assume that savathuun and her witches would start weaving different varieties of soldiers to fight us, now more so than ever

“Considering she was new to the light, and had yet to gather her forces forged in light completely, I do not believe she had the time for it. Especially now when she lies in her temporary grave.” She grows still for a moment, and you begin to question if she is even breathing at the moment, before she turns her head to you. “Be weary. If she were to somehow be risen, we would have more issues on our plate than we might be able to resolve.”
