So it's a colony stand.. not an army of ants with individual stands. It's likely there's a queen ant or multiple depending on the kind of ants they are.

Have you seen them? What kind are they?

They take them into the woods into their colony I guess. Only ability I’ve seen is they can grow and shrink, and have enough physical strength to carry almost grown men away. Also apparently they can type?

Possibly Camponotus Japonicus.

If it is them, we probably have a little bit of time. It's possible they'll keep everyone alive to eat later.

Or some kind of farming situation like they do with aphids.

Either way. They have poor vision and rely mostly on pheromones to navigate. So if they're fitting humans into their nest, we could likely cover ourselves in pheromones have the ants take us into the nest and directly to their queen.

Similar to Phengaris Teleius, a carnivorous caterpillar that predates on this species of ant.

Either way, it's possible we could use the methods that they use to infiltrate an ant nest to our advantage.
