Three years off the grid but I’m *finally* back!

Bringing this post back around for some more momentum as I get back into the swing of this storyline, but expect updates on our boy very soon :)

The beginning of Everafter!Deku, in which he discovers he has a Quirk after all. One that allows him to live on in spirit after All Might’s attempt to free him from the sludge villain kills him.

He didn’t plan on ever going down the path of villainy, but the way his idol turned away from the broken mess that resulted from Izuku’s death and continued to be loved and worshipped by the world while his family suffered and his friend had his future career goals destroyed…

He didn’t plan on being a villain. But he would make sure that when he was through there would be no people who wanted to idolize and worship heroes who were no better than any common man.

What is your goal for your villain deku series?

That’s a good question, actually. My ultimate goal is for this story is to tell all of it, all three arcs. Hopefully, there will be plenty of chances to answer funny asks or worldbuilding questions along the way as well.

This is the first time I have ever attempted a project of this caliber, and I’m also using Everafter!Deku as an art archive of sorts to improve my art as much as I can. I used to be tethered to entirely pencil sketches, which turned to scanning/extracting lineart on my phone. I’ve literally just started practicing how to trace my pencil drawings on ibisPaint and learning what things like linear burn and dodge are. Everything thus far has been a learning experience, and as the story continues to grow, I am going to try my best to grow in skill along with it.

I’m back! ‘Tis officially summer and I’m using all this extra free time to experiment with new digital art applications and learning little things here and there about shading and whatnot.

Wow, everyone, I’m in awe at how many of you are interested in my villain Midoriya AU! A big round of thanks to all those who have liked and reblogged, and another round for those who have sent in questions for our resident ghost.

What initially started out as a sketchy black and white idea for a scene has since blossomed into a fully fledged story with around roughly 3 arcs that I am definitely very excited to share with you all, so here’s to hoping y’all can stick around!

That being said, I am actually in the middle of cramming for AP and finals exams, so apologies for the sparse updates as of late (another reason why I was so surprised we kept amassing followers, actually haha). But that should be over in a week or two, and I can get back to answering questions.

Hey, so I just found this page and I’m very curious as to what fic this is for? I tried looking, but idk the authors name and there’s a lot of fics called ever after lol

Everafter!Deku is my own original villain Midoriya AU! It’s currently is not in fic form because I’d hate to spoil the suspense :)c

However, it’s something I’m definitely considering in the future.
