Do you ever get tired of people doing stupid things and injuring themselves? I see so many people injuring themselves in the weirdest ways on here o-o

it's my job as a doctor to remain patient and professional no matter how silly or unbelievable an injury may be.

but... sometimes it's hard not to feel a bit frustrated when someone comes in with an avoidable injury or with a really out there explanation for how they got hurt. it can make for a tough day at work.

this is a safe for work ask/roleplay blog for the character harvey from stardew valley

everything i post is pg-13. this CAN include some sensitive or mildly suggestive topics, which i will mark with a mature content label (at my discretion). using this label does NOT mean that my blog is nsfw. it is mainly to err on the side of caution if anyone would prefer not to see that stuff.

i’m not an actual doctor and can’t give serious medical instruction. everything i say here is for roleplay purposes only. don’t ask me for genuine medical advice.

i reserve the right to deny (not answer, delete, or block) asks from anyone for any reason

guidelines & to-know

avoid sending specific questions about IRL people, media, music, or events. (while i will sometimes answer them, there are a couple big problems i face. namely, that it is hard for me as one person to know/research all the media that is sent in)

for safety reasons, i will not be answering asks with links in them.

the conversations between you and harvey are exclusive to you and him, and aren’t necessarily involved with other people's plans. (for example: he can go to the flower dance with several different people, because you all exist in different timelines. so he can be in multiple places at once ;D)

it is easier to answer shorter straightforward asks than longer ones, so i may answer those first

some canon festivals are celebrated here and some are not. it depends on what i have the time for/remember lol

make my job easier and refrain from breaking the fourth wall... it gets so awkward sometimes 😭

have you heard of FlightRadar24? it allows you to see all planes in the air, anywhere at anytime. and its free :3

i use it when there's a plane above me and im curious - i can see where it's coming from and where it's going :>

i've not heard of flightradar24 before, but it sounds like an interesting service. it would be fun to see all the planes in the air anywhere at anytime.

being able to see where they're coming from and where they're going would be good to use in addition to the radio stations i keep track of as well... great to know that it's free to use as well. i'll be sure to check it out sometime. thanks for bringing this to my attention.

What’s your favorite part of making models: putting them together or painting?

(Unless I completely missed another facet to working on one)

hard for me to choose between those two activities, but if i had to decide... i'd say putting them together. mainly because of the feeling of satisfaction when everything begins to fall into place is wonderful.

painting is also enjoyable. it's different from building the model, but it's fun because i am able to be creative and add details to the model. overall, i just enjoy making model aircrafts!

What caused your fear of heights?

my fear of heights is an unfortunate trait that i developed at a young age. i can't recall what in particular triggered my fear, but i remember struggling with it ever since. whenever i found myself in a high place, i would feel an overwhelming sense of dread and unease.

the fear was so severe that even thinking about being up high caused me great stress and dangerous levels of anxiety. i wish i could pinpoint exactly where the fear had stemmed from, but i'm unsure.

hello nym. if a chicken bit you, it would be considered an injury and would generally not have severe consequences-- unless you have an allergy to poultry or the bite was deep enough to cause a severe infection that goes untreated. if you suspect this may be the case, or the state of it gets worse, please seek medical attention.
