Remember the time i mentioned how the dresses in Diamond’s, especially for high ranking,noble and rich people are slim fit and using lot’s of sheer fabric as they’re proud with their body and their skin? (Smooth healthy skin and body can be achieved with the fact they’re the richest kingdom and so they didn’t do heavy works that much so it signified they’re wealthy in a way) But children and young people even for high ranking and noble and thus that’s why Lilli’s dress are ‘puffy’ Then i wonder how her dress would look like when she’s finally not considered as young anymore, so-

Quick thing I make to show the differences between each kingdom's fashion taste, i think.

Club is a military based Kingdom with a harsh cold environment so their clothes often lean to be more practical, layered, and coat with fur. Rather having some pin or precious gems shaped with their insignia, they prefer to have the club’s insignia embroidered to their clothes since it’s saver and not going to fall or stolen when they’re moving around.

Spade clothes prefer a straight cut and straight A silhouette. Like clubs, they prefer some practical and easy to wear clothes. That’s because they hate wasting precious time that they can have for study and experimenting instead. They’re not interested in having their clothes covered with their kingdom insignia either as they think the colour of blue is already enough to represent to which they belong. Spades are people who would cut anything unnecessary from their schedule so they can do whatever their greedy heart desires, and most of it is about studies and making new inventions.

Hearts however, not like the other three. Their fashion can be seen pretty outlandish with layers upon layers and pretty fluttery. This is because as their Kingdom really loves festivals and parties, those kinds of clothes really look great for dancing at the event. The fuller their clothes look, usually it signifies they’re well off as making these types of clothes can be expensive from how much fabric they need. Thus often, Heart buys fabric from other Kingdom, one of them is Diamond who loves their sheer fabric. Though these kinds of fabric for hearts are used for just the bottom layers of their skirt that in a way for Diamonds who really think highly of their own bodies and love to show their skins, found it quite a waste and ridiculous. Hearts and Diamonds often fight for which kingdom has the better sense of fashion in which Spade and Club have no intention to join in.

However, Im still going to answer the Question that’s left until now, which is two more!! :)

Honestly im rather glad im not getting ask because it’s make me feel pressured. Tho it’s really fun to do it when i have more free time.

I think im still have a hard time grasping ask blogs. Honestly than making this only about diamond, is should just make it more open to other Kingdoms as this Cardverse Universe is independent.

Thus, i close the ask box that’s pointed more personal. But im still willing to accept suggestion? Especially if you’re wondering more about the lore and the story after the death of previous Queen of Diamonds. I just enjoy doing illustration than making comic tbh.

Francis do. Even before Gilbert become a joker because they’re childhood friends and also the crown prince of their Kingdoms. But Gilbert then dies because of sickness when he’s young. Years later Gilbert got ‘resurrected’ by the God and need to face the fact all of his family and friends already aging up. Their friendships strained for a moment but soon enough they become close again.

Lmao, there’s probably a lot. But later Gilbert just realize how his body and Francis’ are now different as he’s aging much later because of his ‘resurrection.’ He soon treating Francis much gentle as Francis is just physically weak as old man.

Francis didn’t like how Gilbert treat him much gentle tho, since he feel like he’s treated like a grandpa when he’s not THAT old.

The king let out a soft chuckle as he just amused with how hard the head guard was trying to appease the young Queen of Diamond. It’s just too contrasting with his huge and intimidating physique. The young Queen, however, doesn't think the King's response is good.

“No, it’s not your fault. I want to ask the way since I got separated from my King for a moment. I actually want to ask the way but realizing my lack of ability to speak Clubians makes me froze up.”

“I'm also being incredibly rude to suddenly cry when you are just trying to speak to me. I shouldn’t react that way after all. It’s really embarrassing for me, as a Queen, to be quick to judge someone, especially when he’s the head guard of the Club and just wanted to help.”

“U-uh, but at least my cry managed to make my King Find me, so please don’t be worried!! And this is a good lesson for me as a Queen... I should be better and work harder to learn the language so I won't end up bothering you or other guards...”

“Well...” Francis slid in as his Queen already spoke her mind. “I’m also sorry for what happened. It’s also my fault to leave my eyes on her when she’s still clueless around here so as a token of forgiveness, may you lend your hand for a while?”

“I think it can cheer you up. I used to eat it when i have lots of work to do and tired. They’re pretty delicious.”

“Ah, getting a small gift from an old man like me might throw you off huh? Well... maybe one day i should just bring one of my muscular guards to hand you the gift?” The King chuckled playfully, “But I also heard you don’t really mind if it’s not from muscular men....”

Trivia with Diamonds fashion: They love wearing accessories from diamonds or another sparkling/expensive stones/gems as those are their pride as Diamondians which Kingdom blessed with rich mines. With ladies, their clothes often using sheer fabric, that’s because they love showing their body. They sure confident with themselves (Other Kingdoms however often calling them vain, but what’s wrong with self confident?) This also can be seen by how Diamondians women clothes really showing the shape of their bodies while the young girls will often still have flowy dress/skirt.

For Men, their clothes often covered with embroidery made with gold or at least yellow/golden coloured. The motifs are mostly straight lines and dot that would making the shape triangle or diamonds. The dots represent what they’re blessed with, their expensive stones/gems.

Who's the queen's brother, and why do people think he'd be better suited as queen? Is it common for men to become queens?

“To be honest with you, Vash is not the only candidate for the new Queen. Monique, who’s also the Jack of Diamond is the one who people think is more suitable for the role.

But i don’t think it’ll be wise, and She think she’s more suitable for being a Jack.

How is the queen usually chosen? Is it just who the King feels will best fit the role?

“The King's order is absolute after all. And the threats of having the Jokers realizing the incomplete ‘Deck’ are not a joke. It’s really not important who becomes who, as long as the King is still alive.

This is why you often see the Queen have no relationship with the King at all. Their status doesn’t matter.
