Soooo..... why the big switch in vibe from Repugnant to Subvision?

I know Repugnant came first but was Subvision your sad lover boy era?

First of all, never describe that era of my life like that ever again. Second of all, no.

I don't know if any of you know this- it's not terribly common knowledge, but Subvision had an additional EP that came out prior to So Far So Noir (not The Killing Floor, before people get confused). If you listen to it, you'll notice the energy is pretty different.

...I was young and I liked glam metal. Unfortunately. But the point I'm making is, Subvision as a whole was not some contained coherent project. It was stupidly emotional and erratic.

So Far So Noir specifically was the culmination of a lot of bitterness, spite, and self-pity. I was more angry than anything. That's all.

I moved on to something that made me happier.

Well, I can't say any of my own songs are my favorite songs. I'm a little too critical of my own work for that. But Draped in Cerecloth and Hungry Are the Damned have always been my favorites to play.
