Matthew Addams at your service. No, not really. I was a Slytherin when I went to Hogwarts. Yes, I just graduated. I go to WADA now and it's amazing there. - Alanna-Dimitri-Lucy-Violet

Mary was preparing dinner for her nephew when she heard a knock on the door. “Coming, dear.” She knew it was the future Mrs. Matthew Addams at the door. She wiped her hands on her apron and walked towards the door. She stopped midway and grinned to herself. “Matthew, your lovely wife to be is at the door.”She had apparated to Matthew’s room, startling the boy. He got up from the bed and hugged his aunt tight. He was grateful for her being so understanding. “Oh, come on now. You shouldn’t make a lady wait out in the cold.” Mary touched his cheek before apparating back to the kitchen.
“Well, that was quick.” Matthew smirked at Alanna as he wrapped his arms around her. He had chosen to apparate outside, instead of just downstairs. He pulled away then planted his lips on hers. It took him a minute or two before he pulled away again. “Hi, blondie.”

Alanna hadn’t bothered to get out of that bed, a stuffed up nose and cough that held the threat of hacking her lungs up enough reason to skip any activities her friends had. Seeing as they were going to the Shrieking Shack on their day off, she was more than happy to skip. Even from afar it gave her nightmares- actually going there was something she couldn’t even imagine doing.
A soft and constant knocking on the window woke her from the light sleep with a groan, followed shortly by a bone rattling cough. “A’right, a’right, I’m comin’.” Alanna swung her legs over the bed, shuffling over to the window where Matt’s owl on her windowsill.
”You couldn’t have gone to the owlery like a normal bird, could ya?” Sighing, she took the letter from his beak. Her cheeks flushed with excitement, a giddy feeling always washing over her whenever Matt had the time to owl her a letter or two. Knowing that he was thinking of her made being away for so long worth it. Besides, reading them gave her some distraction from her friends who all seemed to be cuddling with their significant others at the breakfast and dinner table.
Breaking the seal, a small smile spread across her face. Of course, they had agreed upon today, hadn’t they? Damn this cold, she was going to see him. Instead of answering, she gave Matt’s owl a small treat, ruffled his feathers and sent him on his way. Gathering a bit of floo powder, Alanna headed down to the common room.
Throwing the powder down, she muttered Matt’s address under her breath. Fortunately, most houses were now connected to the floo network. Casting one last glance behind her, a warning to the underclassman that if they snitched that she had left.. Hell would break loose in their dorm. Stepping into the flames, she closed her eyes- still apprehensive that the fire would burn her though she knew that they were harmless.
Stepping out a few minutes later, she coughed a couple of times, and not just from the cold. “Excuse me, m-may I help you?” An elderly woman looked a bit shook up as she sat in her rocking chair, a cup of tea balanced on the arm.
”Erm, I was looking for Matthew Addams house. This isn’t it, I reckon.” Alanna smiled apologetically, her nose so stuffed up it affected her speech slightly, a much more nasally quality than she was used to. “House next door, dear.” The woman answered, the shock wearing off and annoyance at being interrupted during her morning tea replacing the look on her face.
”Right, then I’ll be off. Have a nice day.” Alanna quickly bowed out of the house, sighing in exasperation as soon as the door had shut. Looking to her right, she immediately recognized the house she had meant to end up. Walking to the door, she knocked twice and waited.

Matt looked at her and grinned. "Maybe, I don't know." He let go of her and ruffled her hair. He knocked on the door twice before opening it. He didn't know why but to him it felt like Professor Higgins favored him over some other students. The thought made him shake his head. He grabbed Lucy's hand again as he saw Lacey run down the stairs. "Hi, love. Is your dad home?"
She shut her eyes tightly and took a deep breath, preparing for the usual pull on her stomach, which indicated that they were apparating. She’d gotten a lot better at it this summer, considering that she’d traveled between Robbie’s and her parents’ almost on a daily basis. Once she felt felt her feet hit the ground, Lucy tightened her grip on Matthew, hoping that it would steady her. “Are we here?” She didn’t dare open her eyes yet. Her head was still spinning.

"Hundred percent sure." He knew that the Professor was busy with other things and wouldn't mind having the little girl out of the house. "Apparating in 3..2..1"
She happily snaked her arm around his waist, in a side-hug kind of way, and nodded excitedly. “Okay then. Are you sure your professor would be okay with it? I don’t want us to intrude.”

Back For You || Malanna
Matthew grinned at his aunt and wrapped both arms around her. "Oh, how I've missed you." He pulled away and jumped on the couch.
"Why are you here, Matthew dear?" His aunt smiled at him as she sat down next to him. She had missed him so much and with him not around, she felt like she had no one.
“Skipped WADA, of course.” He hadn’t planned on going home but after Alanna owled, he knew he had to see her right away. “Don’t worry, aunty. I’ll go back on Sunday which means I’m only missing three classes.” He could see the worry in her eyes. He chuckled as she batted him away.
“Alright then, Matt. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only bird you went home to see.” She wondered how the girlfriend was and if they were okay. She didn’t think about the engagement for it would only cause another argument with herself. She knew she told Matthew it was okay with her but there a small part of her that wanted him for herself. If he was going to get married, he would be busy with her family and might forget her. She let out a small sigh. “I’ll make dinner.”
Matt helped her up the couch and kissed the top of her head. “I’ll be home by then. Love you.” He dimpled at her and went up to his room. He looked around and saw no difference. Can’t say I didn’t miss this place. Grabbing a parchment and a quill, he scribbled a note. Alanna banana, See you later. After his owl left, he jumped on his bed and waited for Alanna to reply.

Matthew grinned and put an arm around Lucy. "Now would be fine, I think."
You must have made some kind of deal with the Devil.

Anytime you want, really. Whatever’s best for you.

I'd probably be dead by now..

Okay, really though. You have to help me.
Oh my— I hope you were!

Well, if you’re staying at their place, I guess that’s okay. I thought you were taking this child home with you. That would have been weird.

"Professor Higgins?" Matthew knocked again and waited for the door to open. He was greeted by Lacey who stared up at him. He ruffled her hair and asked where her dad was. "In here, Rudy." Matt put an arm around Lacey as they walked towards the professor. "I-I was wondering if I could take Lacey out tonight, sir. To get to know her and such." He felt his cheeks turn red as the old man grinned at him. "No problem. You two be back before 10pm, alright?" Professor Higgins stood up from his chair and took some Galleons out of his pockets. "Here." He handed them to Matthew. "Have fun you two."
-
An hour later, Matt was exhausted. Lacey wouldn't stop talking about her favorite Muggle television show. It was about two brothers who hunted ghosts and whatever. Matt shook his head and stopped walking. "Lace, love, do you want to get some ice cream?" The girl shook her head and rambled on.
Matt ran his free hand through his hair and wished he saw someone to help him with this particular project. He thought girls her age only wanted ice cream and toys but he was wrong. They apparently were interested in boys and men. He looked across the table and stared at Lacey as she ate her food. "So, what's it like being a little girl?"
"Oh, Matthew. I know you're to be my dad and all but dads don't ask that. Hmmm.. Why don't you just grumble about work? That's what my daddy does." She giggled and continued eating. Matt sighed and nodded. "Alright. Eh, this project we have is so ridiculous. I don't know what this has to do with acting and all... "
-
"Matty, it's almost 9pm." He had fallen asleep at the table and he looked up to see Lacey pouting at him.

Calm down, I was only kidding. I actually asked him if he knew where I could borrow one kid and he offered Lacey. One condition though, I have to stay at their place. So yay for me. I get to have parents and a kid at the same time.
Matthew!

That is not okay!
