what’s some of your hobbies outside of your detective work?

I’ve had a fondness for motorcycles for a long time. In college, I did street dancing, and I really loved it! Through street dancing, I discovered capoeira and took great interest in that, too!

Unfortunately, I haven’t had much time to indulge in my hobbies… I guess life as a soon-to-be-wife is just like that…? Maybe it’s just part of growing up, to give up on your more childish interests…? ^^;

i fucking love misora naomi.

a close friend of mine got me into death note and it instantly became my hyperfixation; misora is one of my favorite characters.

my favorite ships are lawlight, birthdaymassacre, and mattmello, and my favorite characters are as such (just a bit scrambled in their order).

i’m a tanaka minoru apologist. he is my son and i love him.

one of my coworkers and i are ryuk and light kinnies respectively and we act very cringe and do their voices sometimes when we have an interaction that sounds particularly like them.

i am cringe but i am free.

canon compliance & divergence

i really hate raye penber and want to see him blasted into the stratosphere, so i will do my best to either avoid the topic of raye or try to portray misora as in-character as i can given my own personal bias ;;

i’m thinking that this blog’s misora is either set right after raye’s death but before misora’s OR a canon divergence where misora wakes up and realizes raye sucks and leaves him. either that or he dumped her bc she didn’t wanna be a tradwife baby incubator.

maybe it’ll be a mix of both? raye and naomi split but she still cares for him as a person so his death impacted her?? IDK GUYS WE’LL FIGURE IT OUT AS WE GO!

secondly, i’m open to shipping and headcanons, but i personally think misora is probably cisgender and heterosexual (hence her horrible taste in men), so i will portray her as such!

but i’m also a lesbian and am weak to wlw ships so we’ll see how well i fair with this rule

thirdly, i kinda hate how the fandom just waters down misora to just a generic cool awesome mary sue when she is a huge freaking dork and extremely adorable with a very vibrant personality??? so i will not just portray her as a Generic Anime Male Protag Except Female and base her characterization heavily on Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases!

she is cited as both having a reputation for being clumsy and also unironically called a tsundere in it, and i fully intend to use this to woobify her as much as i please :^)
