Anyway since for the night I’ve become a SU blog here’s my take on The Scene

Here. It’s complete bewilderment on White’s part. Who’s this? The human Pink has been hiding behind??

Here’s the thing: White’s never had a Diamond go against her. Her ingrained ideals of perfection, what these facets of her are. But this isn’t her. She’s looking at, excuse me here, something entirely new.

And then.

Then.

“SHE’S GONE!”

We’ve never heard of a Diamond shattering in canon. As far as we know, a Diamond is forever. A Diamond is forever under White’s control, at her beck and call. Steven isn’t.

Yet she still holds no influence.

This is White Diamond hearing Pink is dead.

This is White — and us as an audience — understanding that Rose, Pink, is gone forever.

The closest thing White can relate this to is shattering.

Imagine finally understanding you caused your daughter’s death. How much that’s going to weigh on Blue and Yellow? Only White knows so far, but there are two seasons left…

I hope the Crew goes into detail about it.
