and omfg, i can suddenly understand how Prester, if true, got fuckin lost in the damn area. I walked in expecting stuff like Barnacle Boatyard and Toontown Central, got greeted to a huge area with streets with enough allyways that im sure to get lost without the map!

Also found Prester boss area, sad his has no music tied to it :(. also sir why the fuck is your boss area...above...THE TROLLEY????

Istg, didn't Prester at one point have a friend request denial thing that mentioned if the toons tried to send him another friend request he was gonna roast them and eat them???

I legit remember stumbling upon it one time on his wiki and just going "HUH???" AND NOW I CAN'T FIND IT??? ANYWHERE???? I've checked the new wiki, I've checked the old wiki and the mention of Prester threating to turn the player into a goddamn toony roast is just GONE.

Idk if i dreamt it or something??? But yeah, this is gonna haunt me..fun

I feel like someone on the Clash team really loves her because girlie has a goddamn theme just for her gate TO her boss fight and its so hauntingly beautiful? Then again, checking the wiki, Misty I think has the most boss themes? Someone on the music team loves them /j.

But yeah, I look forward to fighting my girlie/one of the name sake's of this blog lol.

Father/Father's Day Headcanons

In honor of father's day, personal Misty and Prester father headcanons!

Misty Misty tbh doesn't have a good relationship with either of her parents? But focusing on their father, he was...there? Is the best way to put it. He was kind of stereotypical 1950s like father, he went to work to support his family, came home, ate dinner and only bothered when he needed to or when it was required for him to step in. Although he never approved Misty's interest in weather. He saw it as a waste of time since it wouldn't amount to much in his eyes. Long story short, daddy dearest saw Meteorology as nothing more than clouding gazing and playing in puddles. He rather Misty have a respectable job. If Misty never cut contact with him and her mother, he probably would have approved of her becoming a Lawbot and joining COGS Inc since those are jobs bringing in good money after all.

Now, Misty kind of just, vibes on Father's Day. She's either hanging out with Buck and Dave, or has somehow got roped into visiting Bell and her family for the holiday. They also stop by Cosmo's place a lot, Cosmo acting like a pesudo father/grandfather to her and celebrates with him.

Prester Given how Prester is, I am like fucking convinced his parents were both union workers. His father was a factory worker just like his wife. While his worked in the textile and fabric factory, his father was working in a steel factory. The from the moment Prester was built, both parents were hammering in the ideas of unions and how it was up to the little people to stick it to the man. Seriously, Prester has lost count to the amount of protests or worker strikes his parents dragged him too. But, even then, he appreciates what they both did for him. Circling back to his father, Prester's dad at the end of the day was a family man. He would work long shifts sometimes just to make sure to support his wife and Prester. Prester has fond memories of the times his father would teach him his mother tongue, sneak into old cathedrals and churches with him and sit on the balconies and towers like the gargoyle cogs they were. But Prester's father also helped keep Pres grounded. He encouraged his son's dreams, but had to remind him sometimes the reality of things were bitter and horrid. When Prester announced he was going into law school, his father and mother were there with him to the end to support him and help when things get tough.

Before Prester's dad died in a work place accident, Prester would call his family on father's day to celebrate with them since he was either too busy with cases or work to properly visit. After his dad's death, Prester still calls his ma to check in on and to still celebrate it. Sometimes when he has the chance too, he tries to make a trip and visits his father's grave.

//HELLO HELLO I AM BACK FROM VACATION! I know i meant to draw on vacation but due to stuff that happened during it, I lost motivation to draw BUT AM BACK AND READY TO POST MORE HERE!

Do have an art tablet i got for christmas still so gonna see if I can hook that up soon and do digital art again for stuff without using my phone and fingers hfsjkf. Also wanna post fics here soon! Just got to write them!

God I hope Tumblr did not kill the quality on this, BUT! Doodles! Currently on vacation so can't do proper digital art, but I offer up cute doodles!

-BUCK! I still suck at drawing him but trying better. Also to explain the headcanon, yes I headcanon Buck as a cyborg (or i guess, Cogborg? lol). I think its because out of all the animal cogs Buck is the most colorful and a lot of his attacks are very much like toon gags? You have a drop gag (his gold bar) and toon up gag (his all 7s move). And I say that since it hits both cogs AND toons which is like a weird little gimmick? (im sure this is just because Buck's entire thing is gambling but still food for thought to me lol. ) But yeah! Buck has some parts cog parts and toon parts. His slot "eyes" are more like a glorified visor for him. He rarely takes off his visor tho (plus it’s lowkey painful for him to do it). Not a lot of cogs know either.

-Misty! She is my fav to draw still. And I love putting her in different cute little outfits. I love her, im gonna spoil her in cute outfits.

-I cant fucking draw Dave without a ref :D.

-Okay so i already love the idea of Buck and Misty being friends, like a lot. BUT! User: zedleak OPENED MY DIDDLY DONG EYES TO MISTY BUCK AND DAVE FRIENDSHIP! So yee just a doodle of that :3. Two extroverts adopt an introvert /j.

Stuck on a Train So Train Headcanons!

Misty adores riding on trains, trolleys or similar stuff. She finds them smoothing, especially during rain storms. She makes herself small as possible in her seat and curls up with a book while resting her head against the window.

Prester also likes riding on the train but he also doesn’t have the patience for delays. He def would hate modern trains and enjoy ones that still have a vintage/antique feel to them. I can see him doing work on a train ride before it promptly gets YANKED out of his hands so he’s force to relax. Probably also reads on the train too.

If they travel together get a sleepy car. Prester gets one anyway if he travels alone, Misty is fine with anything. They get a sleep car usually though because of Prester. He doesn’t like to feel squished. And as for a shipping note: the two somehow always end up sleeping on the same bed in the sleeper car, with Prester resting his head on Misty’s chest or stomach with his arms wrapped around her or Misty resting her entire body on Prester, while his head rests on top of her’s.

I think people are overlooking the comedic potential of prester being that arrogant that he only trusts himself take down toons

I feel like I should start by saying I was not exposed to Misty's bossfight by fighting her myself. I found snippets of her boss fight by watching Starkler76's kudos manger moments video. And I fell love in love with her as a character. And I think because of watching the fight and not playing it, I ended up with a much different interpretation of Misty than the fandom, that, I will admit, may be painted in some bias light because I can seem myself in Misty.

Misty has always given me the vibes of someone broken from the harsh treatment she has reserved from others and especially at COGS Inc. She always came off as tried to me, like she actively wanted to quit COGS Inc but felt she couldn't. They come off as anxious, socially awkward and I would kind argue and say borderline distrustful too. Like she wants to open up, they want to have friends, they want to connect and play games and just hang out, but after being hurt so much Misty is scared to get hurt again so she is also distrustful of those who do listen to her and actively try to reach out to her too. Like, her mercy ending, I read that as something completely different. It legit took me poking around here on tumblr to realize the majority read that as something else. I always read it as Misty at her wits end and lashing, like "Oh now you suddenly want to stop? Now you want to listen to me? How do I know you aren't going to us this against me? How will I know you aren't going to backstab me? How do I know I can trust you when my trust has already been throw in my face multiple times?"

And I feel like in the right environments or if she was given the proper chance to just escape from Cogs Inc, she would thrive so much. Lots of her dialogue I could find on the wiki.gg read as her being very welcoming and playful when given the chance. Yes some of them still read as emotional and I would kind of argue as panicky in nature? But some of them have this little sprinkle of snark or playfulness to it that I adore (the girlie straight up cracks jokes in some of their dialogue it feels like?).

But that is just how I always viewed Misty, and taking off the rose tinted bias glasses. Canon misty is written kind of well? I will admit feels a bit over the place and that may be because of clash's writing? Toontown was never known for their story so suddenly having Cogs WITH a story, emotion, proper character, it may be a challenge to write that in properly. But there are some parts of her writing that are good. Her victim complex/mentality is really interesting, given her this almost tunnel vision view on how things work. I think the very obvious loneliness Misty faces too in game sort of amps that up too. Sweetheart saw the first chance at befriending a toon and RAN with it, completely forgetting she is a cog and also the cogs are destroy the toons' homes. And again with the tunnel vision when she is shocked when the toons and Bessie defend themselves by dropping things on her or attacking. Like, miss ma'am, YOU ARE ACTIVELLY STEALING THEIR LAND??? But again, its clear Misty wants to be friends and like wants to hang out with the toons.

And, maybe an unpopular opinion, but I think a thing that makes Misty character suffer the most is: She isn't allow to grow as a character? Yes, yes Toontown isn't really, known? For story? The gist has always been "Cog bad, toon good. Kill Cog. Victory Dance", but Clash introduces more of a story with the kudos managers and more! And I think Misty being a kudos manager sort of hurts her in the end because she is stuck in remote location as a boss fight and never given the chance to leave that select area and develop as a character. They are never given the chance to grow, to learn, and to improve. Misty, in my, probably, bias opinion, has the makings of an interesting character if she was given the chance to BE more. She would be a perfect character to go rouge and help out the toons. But again, that's just my opinion lol.

As for her and William/Derrick Man and the whole stalking thing. Yeah no. I wanna say its been proven that William/Derrick Man is not a reliable source in that department? Since the claims he made were clearly proven false and in turn the company/Cogs Inc threw them out so...//shrugs

But to cut a long story short: I had a very different impression of Misty, where she is more so an awkward, low confidence but means well girl failure thanks to not doing her boss fight and instead watching it and while that said, I still do like canon Misty, just really wish she was given the chance to like grow and improve as a character!

Misty Monsoon is such a controversial character and it’s kinda wild to me.

Blog Update!

Art and any future asks may be slow because of life, but yeah I wanna start updating on here again since I missed these two!

And also as a sidenote, I may post none Misty and Prester stuff on here too. Maybe fics with other characters or small cameos of OCs, idk yet, but yeah! Look forward to that.
