(Hey it's sarge, I want to seriously apologize for my inactivity. I want to get back into roleplay and I thought I was good to go when I posted those open RPs turns out no, but to make a long story short my house flooded about a week and half ago and I was informed that there is a chance my spouse might lose their job and by extension our home and healthcare. So I've been in consistent panic mode hoping that it's panic for no reason. There is a chance I'll be back to posting in coming weeks or I might have to put @ask-shadow-medic-soli, @callsign-king, and @k-4spade in an indefinite hiatus. I'll post an update as things become more solid.)

(Open RP) Less then human

March 5th 2025, would you call it AWOL? He got his leave approved, had Graves sign off and everything. Just left without a word or hint of where he was going. Took off wanting to feel like an animal. Hitting up an old contact to bring back the King of the beasts.

March 13th 2021, the last time he saw the light in those piercing blue eyes. "Break him and he might live," words he regrets ever believing. Vision narrows as he focuses on the face before him, reason blurring as imagines his face. Beating fists upon his chest, nose crunching, blood drip, fights too aggressive to call legal or sanctioned.

March 14th 2021, a body thrown into his cell, treated like nothing but a discarded toy. The skin mottled and burned by acid. The only thing hinting at who it was, were those piercing blue eyes faded and milky, "Did too good of a job mutt, killed your mate." Their laughter tore through his mind.

The bottom of a bottle, his only friend; what little parts of his body could still be bruised, was a rainbow canvas of raw pain from the abuse he sought out, trying desperately to forget how human he really was. Only a beast would do such a thing.

March 15th 2021, he heard a raid, gunshots overhead, the familiar sound of American voices, the uniform of his brothers. The look of horror on their faces as they found him cradling a corpse, looking half dead and barely recognizable, his smile cut too wide on a mouth bound and stitched up… The helplessness of each memory turned to anger and rage. Screaming like a beast he pounded his opponent into submission like some rabid beast. Not stopping till he saw red. Not stopping till they were limp.

March 17th 2021 he found his wife in bed with his best friend. A coward who didn't look for him or his own husband. No one looked for him! No one! Not even a man who claimed to care for them…

March 18th 2025, finally seen once more, his battered and beaten body walking from an old Ford that had seen better days to the barracks; face swollen, Vision only passible, his body aching from every joint. AWOL didn't seem right… he’d had permission to leave, just never told anyone where. His foot falls were heavy as he walked to his room scanning his card, pushing the door half open, but then he just froze; feeling someone was watching him.

Soli looks at the twins baffled, "oh... Condolences, I will get the paper work started. Make sure to contact HR and the shadow company secretary as well so they can contact next of kin and prepare arrangements." He huffed a little upset himself. He may not of interact with Bee much, but there is something somber about their passing.

Have you talked to the on base therapist? Unfortunately in my limited knowledge I am unable to treat it with the care it needs are there are multiple factors that come into play.

I could inquire what exactly is the appeal for you?

I use to have it as a kid myself, but mine was caused by stress. I had gotten it under control by removing myself from the stress entire though that is not always possible and does not universally apply.

CoD RPer/Creator PSAs/Reminders (EDITED)

Roleplayers/Roleplay Blogs

It has been brought to my attention by a friend that some RP blogs (that I don't recognize the handles for, so I'm asuming they're fresh to the community) have been interacting with other fandom members posts, but not specifying if it's out of character or not.

As a roleplay blog, it is your responsibility to make sure creators are ok with you interacting, in-character, with their content. A lot of content creators have such posted somewhere on their blog whether or not they are ok with in-character interactions. It is your responsibility, as the interactor, to make sure you are specifying if you are interacting in-character or out based on the creator's contnent of which you are attempting to interact with.

Not everyone is ok with our (roleplayers') interactions in-character on their content. That is reansonable and should be respected. PLEASE check a creator's blog for their boundaries PRIOR to interacting with a roleplay blog handle. If you see no mention of rp blog in-character interaction (permission OR denial), please assume that is a NO/Do Not Interact.

I would like to note that no one is "in trouble", we just need to be aware - as a community - that some people in fandoms (not just CoD) don't even want the fan-made content, others just want art or fic, some want to roleplay or interact with the roleplay blogs, etc, but not all fandom members want every side of the fandom.

Creators/Creator Blogs

It is your responsibility to have your boundaries for interacting with your blog posted somewhere that is easily found on your blog. Yes, some would assume "no mention of consent to 'x' interaction listed" would mean "do not interact", but other people do not read a lack of boundary as such, unfortunately. I am hoping that this post, as the rp side of CoD Tumblr is still small, will reach as many roleplay blogs as possible.

I hope everyone is having a beautiful time zone! I will have my own boundaries/blog interactions up soon, but will say here that I am just fine with the roleplay blogs interacting with this blog ( @lilbardrhi ) in character. This statement will be included in my pinned post once I finish it and get it posted/pinned.

CoD Discord Community Server

Hi there! Are you a CoD content creator, fan, or roleplayer that wants to go to one place to interact with creators, fans, and roleplayers alike? Well, dang, do I have something for you!

Who is this server for? Anyone in the Call of Duty fandom! Whether you're creating content (fics or art), a fan of the content creators, or a Call of Duty character or original character roleplayer, we welcome you with open arms!

I will note now that this is an 18+ server! Minors will not be allowed past the verification process. If you are found to be a minor who lied to get through verification, you will be banned indefinitely.

The CoD Chokehold Discord community server was created by a group of friends and I. It started as the growth of our group chat, but quickly progressed into a community server.

Tumblr, while I love it, doesn't have group chat options and sometimes following roleplaying reblogs gives me a headache. My solution? This server!

The purpose of this server is not only to connect content creators and their followers in a more simplified social space, but also to support each other! We have people willing to beta read, people willing to "hype" when you're feeling down, and a section for casual roleplaying.

As the title of this post suggests, this is a Discord server - specifically a "community" Discord server. It does require a Discord account to use.

Nodding his head pointing to a nearby open bed before disappearing into a room in the back coming out with a metal tray filled with a bag of saline and some ibuprofen. "Can you describe the pain for me?" He gruffed handing the ibuprofen first before starting a vitals check.

Roach stumbles into medbay, damn near cross eyed. His helmet is nowhere to be seen and his hairline is stained red.

Söli panics a bit, running to help his friend assisting him to the cot in the medical tent. "Thank God you found us," Söli towering over him examining the cut. Thankfully it looks superficial but the slurring and disorientation wasn't helping the worry. "Tell me what happened exactly? Who are you supposed to be with?"

Söli grabs two glasses setting them on his desk. The golden liquor splashing in the crystal like glasses, "how have ya been? Ég Kem Alveg Af Fjöllum, I've been so busy with paperwork I feel I have missed a lot." He chuckled setting one glass in front of Jeanz.

He leans back chair creaking under his weight, the large man mindlessly swirling the glass not in a rush to take a drink.
