Time for my Precure OCs!!!

I’ve got 3 different fancure scenarios, so I’ll summarize all of them :)

Ever-Changing Precure!!!

SYNOPSIS

Four college students who room together are determined to finish their studies and move on with their lives. After a strange creature attacks the town nearby, they realize their college life isn’t going to be as straightforward as they think.

A villainous team is determined to derive the world of colour and make everything stay the same! One of the students, Haruhide Hana, springs into action, but will his friends and roommates follow suit? After promise that becoming Precure will reveal their desired ways to transition, it becomes all the more appealing for Haruhide’s friends…

CURES

Haruhide Hana - 花春秀 ("beautiful spring flower") (he/him - trans man) Precure form - Cure Spring

Huge fan of magical girl shows, and trained in many kinds of fighting techniques to learn how to fight like them. Becoming a Precure was the best experience ever for him! Strongly believes in being the change you want to see in the world.

Natsuyuki Mori - 森夏如 (best summertime forest") (any pronouns - genderfluid) Precure form - Cure Summer

Haruhide's childhood friend. Everyone's personal hypeman, and loves cheering people on. Talks in a very prideful way, which can be off-putting, but they just REALLY like promoting self-love.

Masaaki Kaze - 風雅秋 ("elegant autumn wind") (he/they - demiboy) Precure form - Cure Autumn

Reclusive introvert who spends most of his time drawing and listening to music. Fears change, but still wants to transition. Can be a bit cynical at times.

Fuyuhisa Suzuki - 雪冬尚 ("still winter snow") (they/them - nonbinary) Precure form - Cure Winter

Gentle person who has a lot of interests that seem strange to others. Loves sharing their interests, but gets nervous easily and can be a bit selfless to a fault. Generally laid-back and goes with the flow of life. Has a pet snake named Mono.

Revival Blessing Precure!

**Note: I don't have all the Precure forms designed for this one. I will update this as I draw them!

SYNOPSIS

Tragedy falls a central city after the Precure destined to save them were killed after a hard-fought battle. The city falls under complete control of a tyrannical ruler, with all hope seemingly lost.

Unknown to everyone, the Precure’s resolve to finish the battle allowed them to stand up again— but as monsters, and without their memories. They eventually form a new team, and set out to finish what they once started! However, they cannot show their faces to the public. If the knowledge that they became monsters were to spread, it would horrify the masses!

…But even though the monstrous Cures became Precure willingly when alive, the new team starts to question why they’re doing this. Is this truly what’s right? Is this all they’ve come back to do? Their monstrous forms don’t allow them to live among normal humans, after all. Where does individuality end, and duty start?

As they recover more of their memories and discover who they are, they learn to let go of their pasts and embrace who they’ve become, happier this way.

CURES

Fukuya Mochitsuki - 望月復也 ("full moon's revival") (he/him, fem trans guy, jibakurei/ghost) Precure form - Cure Eclipse

In life, Fukuya lived in a city that was prone to attacks from monsters. He never had a proper childhood. His childhood was spent training in case he was put in a position where he'd need to defend himself. He grew to be very paranoid and anxiety-filled, knowing that his city was constantly under threat of attacks.

Fukuya willingly became a Precure immediately when presented the option. He knew the risks, but he just wanted to make the monsters go away. He was tired of living in fear, and wanted to feel something other than it.

As a ghost, Fukuya maintains his anxious but determined demeanour. However, his anxiety is caused by his refusal to accept that he's dead. Despite his difficult past, the first things he remembered were the most happy times in his life-- leading him to believe he had a fulfilling life and to feel like he left it unfinished.

Fukuya now works at a shrine. As a jibakurei, he's bound to the shrine because it's near where he died. He disguises himself as a regular priest at the shrine, but the shrine dedicates themselves to communicating with the dead and beyond, making Fukuya's internal conflicts more and more complicated.

His determination comes from him feeling like he has to keep the group together. Fukuya doesn't know it, but he has a fear of anything seemingly coming apart due to his past. He doesn't want his group of friends (and Precure) to fall apart, either.

Kouyo Ootori - 鵬更予 ("renewing phoenix") (she/her, butch trans woman, vampire) Precure form - Cure Phoenix

Kouyo spent her life as a researcher, looking into the monster attacks and becoming fixated on them. She looked into how they worked and ways to counter them. She worked as a commander for the Precure in their living days, being very observant of the monsters and using her own sound cues to signal to her teammates on what to do because of her muteness. She'd often make small sounds with her mouth or hands.

Kouyo is very good at conversing and in social situations, but just needs to use other methods to talk. The most you hear of her voice is laughter and other various noises. However, because she's a vampire bat, she's very sensitive to noise. She's prone to fidgeting with whatever she can find, and her curiosity can lead her to finding the most random objects. Kouyo will even fidget in her bat form, picking up things with her little hands and gripping them over and over.

Kouyo has the second least amount of memories about her past, and was the first to become a Precure again. She doesn't let this bother her, and prefers to live in the present anyways.

As a vampire, Kouyo is grateful for her second chance at life, and is using the opportunity to further her transition.

Sogai Hachisu - 蓮蘇骸 ("resurrected 8 petal lotus") (they/them, nonbinary, zombie) Precure form: Cure Lotus

The original leader of the Precure, Sogai was a wise, mature person who was very capable to lead the trio. They were the second one to become a Precure, but only chose to become one because they felt pressured to do so. Despite this, they grew to enjoy their job as leader, and proved their capabilities.

Sogai has no memory of their past life, and never naturally regains any memories over the course of the story. As such, they prefer to look towards the future instead.

As a zombie, Sogai is a completely different person. Carefree, laid back, and without a care in the world, Sogai does whatever they please. They can come off as strange and unsettling, but Sogai doesn't mean any harm, they're just abusing their new life to do whatever.

Sogai becomes a Precure again sometime after Kouyo. They initially don't really care about becoming one, but something in the back of their mind urges them to do so. They're still figuring out what it is.

Kyoshi Sakuraba - 桜庭陽 ("sunny cherry garden") (any pronouns, agender, witch) Precure form: Cure Beginning (Midseason Cure!!!)

A childhood friend of Kouyo's. While not part of the original Precure team, Kyoshi knew their identities. Their deaths horribly shook them. Kyoshi started working at the same shrine Fukuya becomes bound to, wishing to find some peace. Upon their Precure's revival, Kyoshi and the other shrine workers offer to let them use the location as a hub for them. All the workers have experience with the dead, after all.

Kyoshi initially serves as the only link between the Precure's past lives. Kyoshi ends up dying during the story, but their coworkers fail to contact their spirit, foreshadowing their return. Kyoshi saves the Precure as Cure Beginning later on, and joins the team.

Kyoshi themselves is kind, caring, and patient, but holds a strong determination that can sometimes go overboard. This determination is believed to be what allowed them to be revived.

They also have a familiar, a crow named Cherrymi. Cherrymi lives in Kyoshi's large hat. Initially, she was just a regular crow that Kyoshi had befriended in life. She ends up becoming a familiar because she wants to repay Kyoshi's kindness and help them on the way.

Fun fact: Kyoshi and Cherrymi's personalities were loosely based off Squiggly and Leviathan from Skullgirls :)

Dozing Waters Precure!

SYNOPSIS

The Hypnos Kingdom, a safe haven that preserves the dreams of people all over, has been under threat of the Nightmare Gang for a long time. After a long struggle, people started leaving the kingdom over the years, with very few people left to defend the castle, which holds people’s dreams in little bubbles.

Lumi, aka Cure Reverie, becomes the king and queen’s only saviour. They’re constantly defending the kingdom from the Nightmare Gang in tower defence type battles. However, Lumi is only in it because the king and queen reward them lavishly.

Frustrated with the state of the kingdom, Dawn and Eve begin to investigate into the Nightmare Gang themselves. They despise Lumi and want nothing more than to surpass them. Of course, the twin’s lack of teamwork has made this difficult… so they enlist the help of the castle’s librarian, Tadashi. The eventual Precure “team” is an absolute disaster, but they get better over time, right?

…Right?

CURES

Lumi Musou - 夢想ルミ (“illuminated daydream”) (they/them, agender) Precure form: Cure Reverie

A shapeshifting comb jelly made of billions of sentient cilia. Often goes into a state of "daydreaming" which causes their body to appear as if they're dissociating. Because all the cilia are sentient, this state usually just means there's a fight going on between them. Refers to themselves as "we/us" because the cilia not controlling the mouth will get jealous. Morally grey. Loves to scare and tease people, and doesn't really cooperate. Loves watching Dawn and Eve fight.

Dawn Nemuri - 眠ドーン ("sleeping dawn”) (they/them, agender) Precure form: Cure Sunrise

Eve Nemuri - 眠イブ (“sleeping eve”) (they/them, agender) Precure form: Cure Sunset

The twin offspring of the Hypnos Kingdom's king and queen. A sea nettle and a flower jelly. Don't like each other at all, especially after their parents forced them to be around each other a lot as kids. Frequently fight. Dawn is bratty, selfish, and usually starts fights. Eve is demanding, dismissive, and usually ends fights.

Note: The twins' caps are more at an angle on the back of their head, I was struggling to draw this however LOL

Tadashi Maboroshi - 幻忠志 (“Dream of Faithful Resolve”) (they/he, agender) Precure form: Cure Wish

A spotted jellyfish who's silly and whimsical :) Has a great fascination for dreams, and spends his time studying them. Holds a strong dedication to what he does and even observes the Nightmare Gang to further his studies. Keeper of the Hypnos Kingdom's library, but spends most of his time doing "field research" as others watch the library for him.

Fun fact: Tadashi's eyes are the spots on his cap!

First off, my Sonic OCs! They will be shown under the cut!

Phantom the Rat (he/him) (trans man) - Witch who can talk to ghosts. Obsessed with looking pretty! He’s very AuDHD. Talks to the dead more than the living. Too socially awkward to talk to the living most of the time— with the exception of his friends. His reasoning is that “I can easily use my magic to get a ghost to leave me alone, but I can’t do that as easily with a person.” Founder of Team Combat, a team consisting of Phantom, Scarlet, and Comet, with Pluto as their leader/guidance. Team Combat aim to take down corrupt organizations, and Phantom often gets his intel on targets from ghosts that eavesdrop.

Scarlet the Bat (he/him) (trans man) - “Smart tech guy” who really just has a special interest for inventing and stuff. His powers are basically Ultrahand from totk, and cheated his way to an engineering degree (jk he doesn’t have a degree). Usually in charge of taking down security during Team Combat missions. Calm and collected, but super mischievous and great at toying with people’s emotions. Got really good at reading neurotypical people in particular to adapt to an NT society growing up. Very autistic. His other special interest is stuffed animals :)

Comet the Cat (they/she/he) (genderfluid) - A cat who grew up on a space colony that was studying the Chaos Emeralds. The scientists always ignored them and kept them isolated so they could practice their powers. As a result, Comet became super clingy and hyper as an adult. They’re still pretty naive too, but their super speed and space powers makes them key to Team Combat’s success, despite their unpredictable nature. In a polycule with Saturn and Yuni.

Saturn the Fox (she/he) (trans man) - A fox from Little Planet’s Stardust Speedway, who planned to become an astronaut. During an expedition however, Saturn’s ship was attacked by Badniks, and left her stranded in space. A Chaos Emerald-powered Comet came to her rescue, whose colony was nearby. Saturn has been smitten for Comet since that day. She lives eternally grateful to them, and now lives a quieter life, preferring to cheer on her friends instead of be part of the action. Her favourite hobbies are gardening and knitting. When needed in combat though, she can summon two orbs that she can shapeshift into whatever she desires… but this is mostly used to make her everyday life easier.

Pluto the Arctic Fox (he/him) (agender) - A former survivalist teacher who now commands Team Combat. Questions how they were able to succeed for so long without his help, but is grateful he can help regardless. The “straight man” of the group, he’s the most level-headed in a group of weirdos. Team Combat tends to prank him and make his life harder, which aggravates him, but he knows they care deep down. Has ice powers.

Mercury the Fennec (it/he) (agender) - Pluto’s childhood friend, and also goes by as Dr. Cobalt. A chemist who strives to make the world better with its research using its power to store chemicals in its tail. Used to work in the same labs as Dr. Starline, who constantly berated it and said it would never live up to Eggman’s potential. Mercury turned this fury into drive to continue its research, now feeling bitter and wanting to change the world with its research— regardless if it’s good or bad. Considers Pluto its rival— but Pluto doesn’t take this rivalry seriously. The two grew distant when Pluto became serious about his teaching and would never talk to Pluto. The two made up eventually, but still have some work to do in their relationship. Yes they’re childhood friends to rivals to eventual lovers lmao.

Cookie the Hedgehog (they/them) (non-binary) - A menace to society. Uses their cutesy appearance to catch people off guard, and tries to intimidate them to see their reaction. Does it because “life is too short” and would rather make it fun for others too by being an obstacle. They aren’t a serious threat, just a menacing presence that no one knows how they got here and can’t get to leave.

Caddie the Rabbit (they/he/she/per/ze) (genderflux) - A vicious experiment by Dr. Starline to create an immortal mobian. The experiment failed, because Caddie can still die from old age, despite being indestructible. The experiments took a harsh toll on Caddie’s, leaving them lethargic and fatigued, and needing to sleep often. Caddie now lives without a care in the world, and often abuses their immortality to do stupid shit like drinking paint. Often rambles a lot and doesn’t make a lot of sense. Their plant powers are extremely powerful, and often deep out when they’re sleeping, causing plants to grow around them. They can even talk to plants.

Libra the Light Spirit (he/him) (trans man) - A serpent-like light spirit that was created by the Time Stones to protect them. Gets bored of his job, but always carries a Time Stone with him just in case. Can turn into light itself to traverse quicker… but this only works in the daytime or in well-lit areas. Citizens of Little Planet adapted to this weakness of his by creating grind rails that are light on the inside and expanding the amount of power lines on the planet. Gets treated highly by the Little Planet citizens, but Libra doesn’t want to be taken so seriously all the time. He takes his job more casually, anyways. He’s also fiercely protective of his loved ones, so much so that he can be stubborn about asking for help— insisting that he should help his loved ones himself. Despite this, Libra doesn’t often let his power get to his head, but can go overboard being a guardian. He’s still getting better at limiting himself.

Umbra the Luna Moth (he/it) (demiboy) - A young moth who was shunned for his affinity with darkness and his shadow-y powers. Libra took him in and became his brother, not wanting him to be abandoned. Umbra would’ve protested… but realized that Libra’s pretty cool. Prefers being alone for the most part, but loves his brother very much.

Lilac the Psychic (he/eth) (trans man) - Basically if Saiki Kusuo was a mobian squirrel. Has very powerful psychic abilities, but mostly uses them to get out of inconvenient situations. Introverted and doesn’t like other people very much. Very autistic and aroace. In a queer platonic relationship with Peony.

Peony the Raincloud (he/aqua/wave) (trans man) - A chinchilla who can control the weather. His powers are tied to his emotions, which can make him wildly unpredictable, but Lilac’s presence always calms him. Very anxious, but very good at what he does. He’s just too nervous to show it.

And last but not least! (I haven’t included them in the height chart yet haha)

Yuni the Axolotl (they/them) (nonbinary) - A walking dictionary when it comes to the cosmos. Saturn’s childhood friend, and the reason she’s so obsessed with space. The two grew up sharing their love for space, and exposure to the Time Stones allowed Yuni to awaken their spacial powers. Their powers mostly rely on stardust, which combine with Yuni’s bubble-related powers to increase their strength and give them more options. Saturn and Yuni influenced each other, with Yuni being the source of Saturn’s space obsession and Saturn being the source of Yuni’s positive outlook on life. Guess you could say Yuni is very “bubbly” lmao!!!! But in all seriousness they’re the most level-headed out of the space polycule, thinking more logically and inside the box. Always struggles in situations where there’s multiple answers.
