Hey ummm...you know that 'Guadalupe' is a girl name,¿right? ÓnÒ

You’re probably thinking of Our Lady of Guadalupe (aka the Virgin Mary), and while yes, Guadalupe is moslty a feminine name, it is actually gender neutral.

Meaning that both boys and girls can have it; examples like say José Guadalupe or Maria Guadalupe, but are usually nicknamed “Lupe” for short. (Other gender neutral names are Alva, Cruz, Naolin and Odalis)

I always research on what I am curious about and always try to make sure to stay true to the original source.

She isn’t mentioned much, but for those who are either new or have forgotten: Joey’s wife Serena is currently in a sanatorium because she contracted tuberculosis about a couple of weeks before the studio was opened and everyone started working. Oh, and she’s also pregnant with their first child.

Its weird that we've all been drawing Joey wrong?

To be quite honest, I knew more or less that when Joey’s voice was revealed in Chapter 3, he would definitely have some resemblance to Walt Disney. But by the time I had already come up with a concept design, it was a little too late to change it.

It's been so long since I've last seen this blog post.
