Tumblr hit all custom themes with a “fuck you for not havin a site issued theme” bug, site breaking theme, so now they’re all fucked up. Which is why my blog currently looks the way it is.

So that’s not me not knowing what I’m doing, it’s Tumblr staff.

So Mod, you're not upset with the misgendering? Though I will say Gwen's face in the icon seems to make for a perfect reaction to numerous incorrect guesses.

It’s not really misgendering when I was asking what people thought I was, they were just being honest. Like I can’t be mad at people for not knowing, especially if I’m asking a question. It was just something I was curious about, because it hadn’t occurred to me before then that people wouldn’t actually know/would perceive me otherwise.

I mean mostly it’s because I’m running a blog with a female character, which is to be expected. If I was running a blog with a male character it probably would have been different.

So no, I don’t mind in an instance like this; it wasn’t meant with malicious intent and there’s bigger things to worry about y’know?

So the general consensus is that people think I’m female/perceive me as female, mostly due to the nature of the blog. Which is super normal and understandable.

Also want to address the first ask I got on it because it cracked me up.

I’m indeed not straight, and pretty damn gay (I’m bi/pan but I digress), so I GUESS. But like, sexuality doesn’t dictate interests! ^^

I’m super curious; for those of you who haven’t gone to my main blog, and thus don’t know my gender, what do you perceive me as?

No cheating by going and looking, I want honest answers. I’m genuinely curious, especially as to why you see me that way (like I used to assume every new person online that I met was female, because I mostly meet girls on here).

I don’t want to take up too much of your time with this subject, as it is a very tragic, sorrowful thing, so I’ll make this short.

My heart goes out to the family and friends of the victims of this shooting, as well as the people who are waiting to see if their loved ones are among the many who lost their lives that night. They were taken from this world far too soon.

This is a tragedy that has affected us on such a deep, profound level; all I can hope is that it helps to strengthen our bonds and make us closer, instead of further distancing us from each other. We gain nothing by being divided.

I promise to be the very best person I can be, and to be kind to others.
