Takasugi frowned as the pain rain up his arm causing him to drop the sword. His free hand balled up into a fist before striking Gintoki straight in the face. "You were the one who said fighting can be done with fists as well right?" He smirked picking up his dropped sword.

"Hm? Nothing worth any time to waste thinking about..." He replied looking away.

“No particular reason…” He replied leaning back some as he blew on his pipe. “You seem to have wondered away from Gintoki….”

Takasugi blew the smoke out of his pipe as the raven walked away. It was for the best anyways. Its not like he could team up with a teenager.

“I’m afraid that’s impossible… unless I had a heart attack or something, but I’m somewhat healthy.” 

He glanced at the man nervously. At least he sounded less annoyed. Good! He was doing this “gentlemen” thing right!

“Though I would mind if it got blown up. But the time for that will come. Let’s focus on the now, right mister?” A true gentlemen doesn’t worry about a useless future! They only worry about the timeless now, and what they can do to improve it.

Takasugi used his arm to block, considering Gintoki wasn't striking to kill gave the silver samurai a disadvantage. "Don't fight half heartedly Gintoki!" He warned raising his sword to pierce into him again.

Takasugi tilted his head back as far as he could, the tip of the wooden sword just barely grazing his chin as he jumped back, taking his sword out from the flesh as well. He looked down at the crimson red on his sword with a delightful evil grin. “What’s this Gintoki? You seemed to have lost your touch… Where’s the shiroyasha?” Thats who he really wanted to fight.
