Ship number two of the Maverick verse and the second longest relationship of the team: Daisuke 'Davis' Motomiya and Oriko Mikuni. They've been together for over three years, and are still going strong.

Bio: Murasame is the older step brother of Ikaruga of Hanzo academy. When Murasame failed to join the shinobi program, Ikaruga, his cousin was adopted into the family and was made into the heir of the family legacy. This made Murasame angry and thus he conspired to get his place back. He was less than successful, and eventually he realized that he wasn't suited to being a ninja, so he asked Ikaruga to be the best shinobi for the both of them. After some time, Murasame was met by Yuuno, who offered him a place on the team, acknowledging Murasame's skill in mathematical equations which made him suitable for learning the math heavy magic of Mid Childa. After joining the team, Fides and Murasame headed back to the states where Murasame was brought into the Aegis program and was given far more effective training to maximize his skill with his weapons.

In combat Murasame uses his sickle and chain to keep the enemies at the range he wants them to be, and uses his skill in fire manipulation to make the chain and sickle more dangerous to his enemies. Murasame tends to overthink his moves and lets his ego get the better of him. So, while now he's a competent threat, he still can get himself in over his head.

Bio: Born and raised in the US, Fides is a not a shinobi, rather he is from the American Aegis program. The Aegis program is the US equivalent to the Shinobi program of Japan, albeit with several key differences. When Fides came to Japan at 16 on a trade student program, he discovered the lack of a side dedicated to fighting youma, or the monsters that plague humanity. After returning home and graduating, Fides returned to Japan and ran into Davis and Yuuno, the duo having cut ties to their old friends due to the fact that both of them were considered 'evil' shinobi and that being friends with them would likely get them all killed. The trio decided to work together and created Team Maverick to deal with the youma problem, and got the Japanese government to recognize them as a neutral team, that wanted nothing to do with any of the shinobi schools.

In combat, Fides tends to be the team's point man, and is often shooting the youma with his guns or stabbing them with one of his knives as a last resort. In case of long distance problems, Fides has a rifle to deal with those problems.

Bio: Lively and fiercely courageous, Link will perform any dare at least once. Link has issues with peer pressure as well and requires at least one of his friends to keep him from doing something that might get him killed because enough people convinced him to do it. A lover of puns, Link has to be told to cut back by Len and Yuuno as it kind of bugs them. Also known for his voracious appetite, Link has a stomach that can eat anything, including things he really shouldn't.

In combat, Link's job is to corral enemies if Yuuno can't and act as a back up spotter for Yuuno. Using his bow, Link has access to a multitude of trick arrows and is fully capable of adapting to what the situation requires. In the off chance an enemy can close the distance, Link still has his Flurry Rush and can slow down time at will to strike his opponent with his sword before they can really attempt to attack him. Link will take this opportunity to relocate and set back up to continue sniping and recon.

Bio: Quiet, but kind, Len is the older of the two Kagamine siblings. Len is the overlooked sibling in favor of his younger sister, Rin. Despite being basically neglected badly, Len prefers to be a passive observer, and only really interacts with people he doesn't know out of necessity. When the other members of Team Maverick, Len is far more comfortable and more willing to crack jokes and be unrepentant in being sarcastic to the others.

In combat, Len is a short to mid range fighter specialized in keeping his opponents off balance by using his water magic to create mud, which he can then manipulate as well.

Bio: Yuuno Scrya is calm, cool and studious. This young man is the smartest member of the Mavericks, hands down. Certified archaeologist at age nine, running the largest library in the known universe by 13, Yuuno is the one that the others go to for intelligence and help on their homework. Yuuno when he's not doing stuff for the team is either at the library, studying or watching things on science channels.

As a member of the Mavericks, Yuuno's job is to get into the sky with his magic and actively coordinate the team with a birds eye view. Using his magic, Yuuno rearranges the enemies and his teammates to disorient their foes and strike at their weak points. Yuuno is no slouch in combat by himself however, and in the event of having to fight by himself, Yuuno has his sword and razor sharp magic chains to defend himself and hurt his opponent.

Hobbies: Cooking, soccer, watching sports games

Bio: Davis is a lot of things, goofy and slightly out of touch with reality he may be, he's still as passionate and driven as can be. He still desires to run his own noodle cart is actively taking steps to get to that point, despite a few roadblocks. Davis may not be the smartest member of the Mavericks by a country mile, but he's far more emotionally aware and open than most of them. Davis proudly wears his heart on his sleeve and does not regret showing his emotions.

Davis is the close range combatant of the Mavericks. This is due to lacking any ranged attacks as his dual affinities prevent him from exercising any fine control over his elements. And when those elements are fire and lightning, fine control over them is needed in order to keep collateral damage to a minimum.
