HELLO to those who are following this blog

This was written on the 5th of August, 2020

I haven’t gone anywhere. Hell, I’ve been on tumblr for years, but I do want to inform you guys about something.

Due to the lack of active mutuals and lack of followers active there, I’ve decided that I will put this blog on HIATUS, maybe indefinitely. I’ve also realized that I’m more a roleplayer then an ask blogger. I’ve also realized that some people just come and go on this site and left this site for either issues with the site itself, or of the fact that they had real life issues or just because they’ve lost motivation. I understand that people cannot maintain an ask blog for very long, especially in times like these, so to those who’ve left the ask blog community I wish them the best of luck with whatever they want to do.

As for me, I’m putting this blog on a very likely indefinite Hiatus not only because i was forced to make Hanaka-- which I definitely am proud of and do not regret! I adore her and love her to bits, but also because of the fact that I didn’t get a lot of asks, I’ve lost motivation for this blog, the lack of active followers kind of made the motivation more lacking plus I’ve gotten a lot more motivation to roleplay. And I am glad that I did because the people I’ve met in that community are still with me, 3 to 4+ years after I first joined the community. in the roleplay community, I’ve even joined a server I’m in with some friends of mine. Me and my friends are  having a blast with it.

But the roleplaying thing that I’m most interested in now is roleplaying as Mercedes from MapleStory. The fandom itself is very dead and the ask blog side of it is as dead as it can be which was the reason I was thinking about this blog’s situation which lead me to this post. But even for a dead fandom, I’ve seen two roleplay blogs who wanted to interact with me who they too have MapleStory muses. While that fandom seems to be on it’s last legs, I am slightly hopeful that the fandom will have a resurgence or revival as you could say. My Mercedes blog is pretty active and as far as I can see in the near future: I won’t be changing that anytime soon.

Hmmm...Well maybe update the theme a bit, but that’s a topic for another time. For not I will have fun with my new blog.

Other then that, that’s all I have to say. It’s been a pleasant trip asking all those questions in this blog and doing some random stuff. Seriously, it was fun during the more rougher times of my life. But I’ll be going to the community where I enjoy the most nowardays: the roleplaying community. And those who do roleplays, I look forward to interacting with you all again or for the first time.
