A New World: part 2

“Who you’re lookin’ at ‘ere is umm, heheh...YOU can call me the King, but the name’s Rex. Same dif, y’know? Funny to see you’re still kickin’ Mr. O’Donnell. Actually speaking of kicking! Funny story, that was my first intention upon seeing ya y’know? I mean of course mah sistah drug me away, gettin’ all protective of yeh! But I still owe you a kick, thought I should remind ya!”

He just sat there above me grinning like a damn idiot after saying that, weirdest greeting I’ve ever been given I’ll tell you that. Speaking of weird, what even was this place? Everything was so...put together! Even “the King” himself, they couldn’t have been any kinda outlaws, every damn scale on this kids face glittered under the lights. The entire room did for that matter...it seemed a bit wrong? Something was up, almost felt like I wasn’t here by coincidence I dunno. Everything was so organized, not even a single thread on Rex’s clothes were out of place, even the bed I was in...it was all so damn tidy ‘n shit. I glanced over to the door, as did Rex when it opened. Aaaannnd that’s when, wow...his sister entered the room, holy hell was she a sight!...not like, not a bad way. She definitely didn’t seem the kinda chick to fuck with, she held her shoulders and head up high and her eyes just glowed from across the entire room. That powerful fuckin’ stance of hers tho...eheh, a bit deceiving honestly. She sat next to my bed and cleared her throat before saying something along the lines of..

“You were erm..pretty torn to bits when we found yah, as is the corner of our ship n-now too. Not that it were yer fault. Point is..I-..we, have a wee ‘lil proposition for yeh.”

She was shaking like a leaf on a tree oh my god...she sounded so soft and quiet, she had the same accent as her brother did but her tone was soooo much more pleasing to ears! Is that bias? Nahhhh. Heh, she looked like she could hardly even keep eye contact with me, I know one eye isn’t much to look at, but c’mon! I kinda felt like she almost nervous to see me here, not expectin’ me to be up and awake. Hmm...almost scared I think, I mean I do have..quite the reputation. I kinda slipped up and just said to her

“What’s the matter, scared? I’m not quite the beat most make me out to be..heh.”

I instantly regretted saying that, I really didn’t expect the reaction she was about to pull out of nowhere. She looked like I just told her worst pun in the entire Lylat system. She then just sat back, Rex looked at me like I was in for some deep shit, he back at his sister as she took a deep breath and sighed and just said

“Look, Mr. O’Donnell, with all due respect fuck reputations. I-I don’t care what every other feckin’ Tom, Dick and Harry say about yeh! I have yah here for MY reasons, and goddamn! What kinda twat do you take me for?! I’m not-...I’m not scared! If I were scared of ya!...you think you’d be erm...THIS many feet across from my own brother and me? No I wouldda kicked ya arse right back into space! I’m just!-...not the very best with first impressions ‘n all the formalities kinda shite, apologies.”

Never had I seen such a fine little woman be so...so fucking straight to the point! I was speechless, well kinda. I just hadn’t expected that of all things, I kinda dig her.

“Well then, remind me to not get on your bad side...erm-“

I just kinda gave her THE LOOK when saying that, y’know the one I mean. Her brother instantly shot me the kinda stare that made me think he was shank me, fuck he creepy. He looked up at his sister as she stared him down for a second, then turned to me and said

“The name’s Ra, Ra O’Conda. I take it my snub of a brother gave you the whole....King shite hmm? I’m always the one to give out the last name all formal ‘n shite. Don’t mind his shenanigans too much though, allright?”

She leaned in closer to me, her eyes widened...a lot. They were pretty though, she had that really sad feel about her eyes though. One of those people that looked deeply hurt in their past. She didn’t look like she had malicious intent like her brother did. Her lips curled into a little smile, not one like brothers, bearing teeth..no, it was just a sweet little smile honestly. Then she, um...she entangled her fingers around mine and gripped my hand, it was kinda nice ehhhh. She just gently rubbed my hand for a moment before kinda snapping out of and quickly pulling her hand away from mine.

“Well, it’s good to see you’re umm...living! Ah, um..when you are able, there’s much to talk about! If you need anything, just give me a ring, not that complicated. And Rex....don’t be an arsehole, please.”

She walked out of the room, taking a second before shutting the door just kinda furrowing her brows, giving Rex a little nod. He smiled back at her and then..well as soon as she shut the door, he just about snapped his neck in two looking at me as fast as he did. Oooh boy was he PISSED. He then literally stood right over me, right up in my fucking face! Breathing really hard, he didn’t even blink, he just stared at me for a second before saying

“Listen here mutt! I see your sweaty little paws touch my sister AGAIN. And it looks like I have myself a nice new fur coat. Ooh, maybe a blanket though, I get awfully cold at night, y’know being cold-blooded ‘n all? My point is! You....keep your flea bitten mitts away from her! Got it?”

He then angrily ran out of the room, leaving the door about half open. Oh boy, I could already tell I was in for a wild ride with these two, whoever they are!

A New World: part 1

Well, where to start with this shit? A lot of people ask me how I ended up in this situation, or even somehow made amends with Star Fox, it’s a long story really. Hey speaking of the little shits, it starts with them blasting me out the damn sky...once again! I wasn’t even trying instigate anything with them, that’s not my point though. It’s where I ended up crash-landing that started all this, hear me out.

My Wolfen was wrecked to hell, as was I. Shit was burning all around me and everything was up in smoke, I could feel something stabbing right through my side, all I could see past the smoke was two pairs of bright fuchsia eyes. They didn’t even look like anything living, almost like robots. But I kinda...heard them talking? I couldn’t make out what they were saying. I saw them getting closer and closer, then I....blacked the fuck out.

I woke up to a really brightly lit room, everything was sorta fading back into focus and I just saw this stubby lookin’ little kid sitting across the room from me...it was hard making what he was exactly, he looked like a fucking lightshow with those colors all about his...head??? I think that’s his head, whatever it is it was a huuuge eyesore, ok I sound like a dick saying that...ANYWAYS! He just sat there, sorta flicking his fat scaly tail about, he seemed like he was...waiting?? Maybe for me to wake up, I was guessing anyways...

I tried sitting up but goddamn, my side hurt like a bitch! When I crashed I must’ve been torn up pretty bad, I looked down at my side and it was patched up pretty nicely if I do say so myself. And that’s when he noticed I was awake, those luminous pink eyes piercing through the entire room where just staring right down at me, he had a wide toothy smile just pulled right across his fat face, a bit creepy I won’t lie, he just gave me the death stare...you know the one I mean, the corners of his mouth lifted into an even bigger grin as he just huffed out a little breath, condescendingly? I think? This fuckin’ kid was an oddball for sure though. He walked up to the side of my bed and stood over me, his tiny little pupils sorta flaring out when I returned eye contact. He finally spoke..

“Well, well, feckin’ well! Look what ‘ol fuzzball is finally wakey, wakey, eggos ‘n bakey!”

Wow did he sound grating, he had a really thick accent and his voice was fucking booming with self pride or whatever shit, all I could tell is that this kid sure thinks he’s the boss.
