final goodbye.

with the release of Akali as an entirely new, completely reworked character, and considering my year-long absence from this blog, I have finally lost all motivation to return to this tumblr and am finally archiving this blog so some other lucky person may use the canon URL.

I quit League two years ago, but I still wanted to engage in the askblog community and I waited so so long for Riot’s visual and kit rework of Akali so I had a spark to return to this blog. little did I realize that they would also completely rework her personality, her lore. the changes are very hard for me to get used to, considering I grew up with my version of Akali for so long and have fanfics building off of her old lore now wastefully sitting in my drive. she’s now a completely different character to me and I cannot connect with her anymore; I cannot bring myself to completely change my blog for her new design.

with that said, I appreciate all of the friends and mutuals I have made over the six years of this blog’s life. many of you have deleted your blogs or moved on to other fandoms, but I still miss you and our wonderful interactions. they were my life when I began this blog, and now as I close this blog, they are treasured memories that I wish I could return to. I’m thankful for what this fandom has given me, and I’m sorry I could not give back more.
