She rolls her eyes at him a bit, “And who says you’re my favorite?” She sticks her tongue out at him. “In any case, I’m working out a new concept for a mural. I… might have destroyed one I was working on and need to start from scratch.”

“No need to thank me, it’s the truth!” Hew chuckled, raising his hands in a motion that was similar to a mock surrender.

At her reply, he held his hand to his chest, a wounded expression on his face. “Hannah, I’m everyone’s favourite.” He joked, unable to keep the grin off of his face as he spoke. However, he became more serious following her actual reasoning. “Maybe that’s a good thing.” He mused, taking a seat next to the princess. “Sometimes we need to just start afresh, you know?”

“O…kay. Um…” Truth be told he didn’t know why anyone would ask his opinion. James’ wardrobe consisted of neutral colors that all matched each other for a reason.

Hew could tell that the guy didn’t really know what he was talking about. But considering his own experience with fashion, or lack thereof, he couldn’t exactly say much.

“I’ll take it.” He grinned, patting his shoulder in a friendly manner. “Thanks, man.”

Emotional state, rumors, situation… none of that mattered even remotely right now. It was a beautiful day and Hannah? Hannah was ready to face it head on.

She grabbed her sketchbook and a big bag of pencils– both for ordinary sketching and colored pencils– and went out to the courtyard to enjoy it.

She couldn’t help but toss her hair around a bit. Blonde. She was really blonde again, something she couldn’t believe, and, judging by the people she’d been running into as she went out, neither could they.

Hannah sat down outside and began sketching, smiling just a bit. Hearing someone approach, she quickly looks up, smiling a bit. “Oh, hey!”

Hew had actually thought that Hannah was a new student for a moment. He honestly couldn’t remember the last time he had seen her as a blonde, but when it finally clicked his eyes widened, as did his smile. “Wow, Hannah, loving the hair!” He exclaimed.

However, he was also aware of why she hadn’t been blonde for so long, so he decided not to dwell on the new style. “So, what are you working on?” He asked, leaning over slightly in an attempt to get a glimpse at her sketch, although he kept enough distance to not crowd her personal space. “A portrait of your favourite prince, maybe?”

“Awkward, but not the worst.” Hew replied, taking on a less serious and more joking tone as he caught on that she didn’t want to talk about, well, whatever it was that had been bothering her. As much as he wanted to help, he really didn’t know her very well, so he could understand her hesitation, and he didn’t want to push. “Would you like me to walk you back, m’lady?” He then teased, bowing dramatically as he did.

Peony chuckles as a tall guy comes to her for advice. She wasn’t expecting it though, if she’s honest, though she’s happy to see that someone wants her input, especially on fashion. 

“You bet money on that? That’s hilarious” she laughs slightly. “I personally think you look stunning” she compliments with a nod. “Your sister just has weird taste”

He was glad that he hadn’t come off as threatening, considering that her face was definitely a new one, and if she was a VK then he dreaded to think how he might have looked in hindsight.

“Thank you!” Hew exclaimed, extending his arm as he took a celebretory step backwards. “See? That’s what I’ve been saying!”

Hew almost chuckled at Tayen’s reaction, but just about managed to hold it back. The grin on his face probably wasn’t much better, though. “Why do you think I agreed to put money on it?”
