Welcome to the idyllic town of Addersfield, located on History Island in Auradon, home of Illedale University.
Students here are children of some rather famous faces. And some have made fame in their own right, like King Ben or the Lady Mal. We’re proud to boast a diverse student culture and a rich history–
[–and that’s enough of THAT broadcast! Is this thing on? Hello? Can you hear me?
Good. I’ll warn ya right now, everybody– if you thought Auradon Prep was wild, you ain’t seen nothing yet! Illedale is bigger, meaner, and with the past not so distant to us, tensions can run pretty high around here.
‘Course, you probably know the story by now. When preparing for his coronation, King Ben declared his first royal proclamation to allow over 4 VKs from the Isle of the Lost to come to the city. After a whole showdown about good and evil, the four integrated into Auradon society pretty well, and then after drama at Cotillion, Mowgli rallied the Auradon people to fight for the disbandment of the Isle, sending the villains to rehab and their kids to Auradon Prep.
Catching you up since graduation, pretty much all of us ended up moving to Addersfield for higher education in Auradon’s system– cuz man, I gotta tell ya, it’s a lot better in Auradon than it is anywhere else. Well, 'cept for all the evil takeovers, I guess.
But not everyone’s cut out for college itself. The nice thing about Addersfield is that it’s all a pretty tight-knit community based around the school itself. More of a college township, as it were. So some of AP’s graduates moved to town to work with a crowd they know well.
I can’t stay much longer, but don’t let the stuffy advertising fool ya about this place, folks! We’re a lot more than what the surface wants to pretend. I’d drop your application while you can if I were in your shoes! This is P. Warner, sending you right back to your regularly scheduled programming!]
–and enroll in your future today at Illedale University, where the story starts anew.

Solo Para: Into Darkness
He had a plan.
He had the concept.
But too many people were getting too close.
He had to disappear, if he was going to get anything done.
It was the Isle, sure... but even on the Isle, he could be harder to find.
With a goodbye to his mother, Zevon grabbed his coat and headed out into the night.

👩🏻+ Would you allow Zevon to go to the Isle?
...
I wouldn’t allow myself to be here if I had the choice, I’m not sure you meant to ask that the way you did at all.

👩🏻+ Do you feel like, Zevon's talent is wasted serving the Hook girl?
I feel Zevon has a mutual understanding with both of the Hook girls. CJ can call it whatever she wants, but at the end of the day, she gets a ship. He gets a kingdom.

👩🏻+ Have you taught Zevon how to brew potions?
Of course. I don’t know who you take me for. I taught him what I could, some things he figured out for himself. He even improvised based on his knowledge of what he had in Auradon, it’s something I’m impressed by.

👩🏻 what do you think about Hades? He makes potions too, he actually made one that can make gods immortal. Then again, he is a god himself. Potion partners?
I feel like something went wrong in the process of asking this question. Aren’t god already immortal?
Besides, after my last one, the only partner I’ll consider is my own child.

Dear Salacia,
If you ins really want me to. As you probibaly probabbily pro por? you get the idea, know, I’m the son of Yzma, the boy who almost took over Auradon that one time. What exactamately exacanately exac oh forget it, is... Atlantica like?
The Isle is, by defi no I’m not trying that, going to treat me badly. It wasn’t made for us to be taken care of, it was made as a prison for our parents and we were a surprilise superise supermise surprimise su why do I bother, aftrwords. Homes are bad, food is worse, and most kids don’t have parants they say they can care for.
Soree it’s short, I’ll have to go see if I can maybe get my hands on beter paper, there’s not much on the Isle but I’ll try.
--Zevon
Dear Zevon,
Hi!
Headmistress Fairygodmother recently came up with a plan for some Auradon students to have a pen pal from the Isle and it seems that our name’s were put together.
So, I suppose we’re pen pals now.
I’m Salacia Triton, daughter of Attina and future Queen of Atlantica. Yes, I’m a mermaid and I won’t deny the fact I have powers and a pretty impressive tail.
If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the Isle like? We don’t really hear about it over here and all I’ve ever seen of it is the shore from delivering my boyfriend’s letters to his own pen pal. I hope it doesn’t treat you too badly..
Also, please tell me a bit about yourself, it will be weird for us writing to people we don’t know.
Well, with that, I’ve almost filled my page so uh,
Please write back?
-
Salacia

Complimications have nothing to do with it. This is just how I talk. It might surpisimininate you, and I’m sorry to have to be the one to tell you this, but not everyone here learns things as well as others. I don’t really like when people decidinate that they need to spend so much time on how I speak.
No, your answer came off as awkwardamate and like you were trying too hard to avoidinate the question entiremantely, and considerating how close the topic is to you, I don’t think that’s how you wanted to sound.
Do you wanna conquer auradon?
I… My father wants to conquer Auradon.

You obviosmilly haven’t gotten used to this. No need to be so condescendinating. I said that avoidinating a question usually gives your answer away.
Do you wanna conquer auradon?
I… My father wants to conquer Auradon.

Now, that’s not exactamately what they asked you. Avoidinating a question oftenational leads people to assuminate what the answer is, you know.

I… My father wants to conquer Auradon.

“Well, things are what they are. It isn’t like they’ll get any better like this. I was doing a lot better... then they caught me. But... it’s only a matteration of time anyways. I take it others have been... nastier, than usual? Or did you just wake up this cranky?”

“Ease up, I’m just here for the tradinaming myself.” The boy rolls his eyes a bit, though he could respect the tone and the tension. He’s been there a time or two himself. He was one of the “easy” targets to most.
He rolls his eyes. “And how are things on your corner of the Isle, Eniola?”
Open Starter
{ I laugh in the face of danger }
Life on the Isle of the Lost was what it had always been. Some days were better than others, though. But Eniola had a beautiful habit of constantly looking over her shoulder when she walked out of her father’s territory. Her cane, a simple one with a crudely carved lion’s head at the top, had been stuck in the dirt so many times the wood had stained, and Eniola always went down with it.
Just letting her mind wander over to how she was treated because of her limp made Eniola growl. She quickly shook the thoughts away, she didn’t need to be thinking about that. Eniola didn’t want to become old and bitter because no one else had been taught to treat people right. It wasn’t her problem.
Eniola had set off of the territory with a bag over her shoulder and a lost in her mind as she headed out for the market. She had heard some troubling things lately, and had heard from certain people that made her think about her past. But Eniola preceded to think of the future, and in her future there wasn’t enough food in the house.
Going from stall to stall Eniola examined the food and decided on what she wanted. She bargained and traded and put almost all her focus on it. Of course, like always, she was looking over her shoulder. She noticed someone coming towards her, though she wasn’t sure who she said,”One false move and you’re the one who’s going to need a cane.”

Zevon looks at her, slightly stunned, but nodding slowly to her. He chooses not to comment, because he’s not sure it would come out right, and besides, he’s not entirely sure if he’d be able to respond in a controlled manner. He doesn’t want to talk about the things he’s put up with here, the things others have put him through, because they see him as weak. She knows all the stories anyways. There’s no point.
And in a way... he knows she’s right, and he can’t help but agree with her. He just can’t show that here, not now.

Sighing softly, Zevon can’t help but shake his head at her a bit. “It’s nothing I’m not used to. I grew up in this, and even if you were over oftenational to check up on my mother and I... you weren’t. I can survivenate this, Kaja, I can, but sometimes I get scared for you. Not to say you can’t handle it, Kaja, but... there’s a lot more risk for you being here... I just want you to stay safe.”
