Lucifer shivered, their eyes following Artemis before he finally left the room. He sighed and wondered while his hand continued to move across the page (pfft-)

He chuckled and smiled at them once more before he was back to being engrossed in his work. It was no longer than ten minutes before he dozed off.

"Fine." Lucifer said gently. When he had fallen asleep, the demon smiled and held him close, wrapping their wings around him and letting out a bird like coo. "Sleepy idiot.." They said lovingly

The man paused when he felt Lucifer's head on his own, making him smile softly at them. He soon returned back to working on his studies only to stop when he got a ping from his D. D. D.

"happy birthday luci"

He smiled and turned his head, giving them a kiss.

"Don't worry, I got more things planned"

Artemis giggled, returning to his studies

Lucifer looked surprised, their face flushing, but they tried to keep focusing on their document "Thank you, Artemis. And..what planned?"

They seemed curious about it, what was Artemis planing? And what did it have to do with them?

He hummed softly, moving back to take a seat on the demons lap, his back against Lucifer's chest so he could work better.

Having taken a break from studying for a few days due to mental health, work piles up quickly apparently. But it wasn't something he wasn't accustomed too, he'd spent plenty of time both in the devildom and the human real doing the exact same thing.

Lucifer continued working on their documents, not minding the man sitting on their lap, they rested their head on his, getting comfortable as their hand drifted across the page. They liked being close to someone that made them feel better..and didn't make them feel useless or stressed out. Truly, a dream come true.

Lucifer looked surprised at first but giggled and smiled once he realized it was in fact, his birthday

It wasn't everyday he felt as warm as he did now while being held by Lucifer. He felt safe. Secure. Loved. And boy did he wish it never stopped.

He stood up and left the room, quickly returning with some of his homework from RAD, might as well be productive.

Lucifer looked surprised but he didn't say anything, he assumed the man had to do something so let him do his things. He went to work on his documents, something he was used to.. Something that felt more normal than everything else. Maybe that'll change, but he didn't know, for now, he just buried himself into the sea of workloads and work

Lucifer gave a nervous smile, he couldn't remember the last time he said 'i love you' before this interaction.

The man smiled and laid his head back on Lucifer's shoulder, very content with himself and pleased with the demons compliance

Lucifer looked down at him, he didn't say anything, he didn't know what to say. He didn't expect the conversation to head down this path..but, he'll deal with it. It felt 'warm' in a way, if he could say that. He relaxed into the embrace and gave a smile.
