Cats like Feathertail deserve a hero’s welcome back at their Clan. They deserve cats yowling their name in pride. They deserve to reunite with their friends and family after long and perilous travel.
Cats like Feathertail deserve love; a mate, even, if they so wanted. And kits, too, if that’s what they’d want. Thats what cats like Feathertail deserve if they want; a family.
Cats like Feathertail deserve respect. They deserve to be listened to. They deserve to be leader, even.
Feathertail was an amazing, amazing cat. I feel like I’m carrying her body on my shoulders every day, and I can only hope that she never feels a lick of pain again.
