Maybe you shouldn't discontinue this blog, maybe use it instead to tell the story and just let the askers be able to get to know the characters as the story goes on.

I'm not sure if this made any sense whatsoever but, hopefully it makes some sense.

Yeahhh that kinda why I'm thinking of turning it into a comic! I was really inspired by the graphic novel versions of the books to draw the Sides as dragons, so I think I'm gonna go that route! -Admin

I love your Orange AU ask blog! It harder for me to get into the Dragon Sides Blog because I haven’t read any of the stories in the series. That being said while I’d absolutely love another chapter of the Orange AU, I don’t think you should discontinue the Dragon one. That’s just how I feel about it. -wall

Yeahhh, I feel like this sort would be better as a comic or a fanfic rather than an ask blog though. If I ever get the time, I'll turn this into a comic blog or something -Admin

Roman! Remus! If you can still hear us, I have a message from Deathbringer! “Tell them to fly south, over the ocean. There should be islands to rest. It'll take them to the northern tip of the Sky Kingdom. We'll meet them there." Please hurry and be careful!

"okay." Roman nodded, looking up at the dark sky, "I can't tell which way is south... But if the directions are the same through the tunnel, it should be this way."

"Ro... I don't know if I can fly that long... It's hard to breathe..." Remus gasped.

"it'll get easier the further we get away from this island." Roman told him.

The two dragonets started flying off over the sea.

Have you guys found the twins yet?!? I’m not sure how much longer they can hold on! I told them you’re coming. -wall

"it's going to be a few days." Deathbringer huffed out a puff of smoke, "but there is a way from the island to the mainland without the tunnel. Tell them to fly south, over the ocean. There should be islands to rest. It'll take them to the northern tip of the Sky Kingdom. We'll meet them there."

"what happens if they can't make it?" Patton asked.

"they'll fall into the ocean." Deathbringer shrugged.

"what!?" Patton yelped.

"let me go ahead in the water." Augustus flew up closer, "I can go faster in the ocean."

"no. You're not going alone and none of us can hold our breath that long." Deathbringer told him.

Augustus growled, "you can't stop me if you can't catch me."

Augustus dove down, leaving the rest of the group. Virgil yelped and dove after him.

"wait! Stop!" Deathbringer yelled.

"you, Patton, and Janus continue to the Sky Kingdom. I'll make sure they get there." Logan told them.

Deathbringer shook his head, "fine. But if you can't convince them after three days, then head back to the academy."

Logan nodded, then flew down after his friends.

Roman? Remus? Are you okay? Can you hear any of us? Your friends are coming for you! Stay put as long as it’s safe! -wall

"it- it's dark..." Roman mumbled.

"and hot..." Remus gasped, "I don't think we can take much of this..."

Man Virgil, you really screwed up telling the others about the cave. Now two of your friends are trapped and quite possibly dead. - bad influence

Virgil whimpers, cowering, "I-I didn't mean to- I told them not to go-! I-!"

"it's okay." Deathbringer told him, "there's another way to the island. I'll take some Nightwings and rescue them. As long as they weren't inside the volcano, there's a chance they might have survived."

"we're going to." Augustus said, stepping forward.

Deathbringer glared at them, "you dragonets are already in trouble, I don't think Glory would-"

"please." Patton begged, "they're our friends!"

"And not to mention, Queen Glory wasn't fully grown when she explored the world, neither was Moonwatcher." Logan pointed out.

"and if you come with us, then technically we're chaperoned." Janus shrugged, "it could be a... Field trip."

Deathbringer sighed, "fine. But if Glory asks you kidnapped me."

"fine with me." Augustus smirked, "where are we going?"

"the northern most edge of the Sky Kingdom." Deathbringer told them, "all the way across the continent.

Don’t bother going into the cave anymore. The volcano just erupted and I’m pretty sure your friends are dead! -bad influence

"WHAT!?" Patton yelled, darting into the tunnel.

"Polliwog, no-!" Deathbringer lashed his tail, "come on! Stick close to me.

The rest of them walked into the tunnel. The petrified dragon in the middle glared down at them. Patton was at the end, clawing at the blocked exit.

"they're gone..." Patton cried.

"Remus!" Roman yelled, flying over the volcano.

The air smelled of ash and death. Roman desperately searched the grey landscape for a flash of green. Pale green and white flickered through his wings.

The volcano rumbled and belched smoke into the air. A green and white blur shot out of the volcano, nearly colliding with Roman.

"Roman!?" Remus yelped.

"Remus!" Roman righted them, hovering in the air.

"We have to get out of here!" Remus yelled, "there's a dragon made of ice! And stone! And the volcano-!"

The volcano rumbled again and the twins paled.

"come on! We have to-" Roman said.

The volcano erupted.

Hey guys, Remus somehow ended up near/in a volcano. I think it might be unstable but he’s trying to get out. -wall

Virgils eyes went wide, "V-Volcano!?"

"what? Why is that so bad?" Logan asked.

"that's the old Nightwing home!" Virgil gasped, wings trembling, "it was an active volcano! Our tribe ran from it! That's how we ended up in the rainforest!"

"is-is it still active?" Patton asked.

"probably!?" Virgil shook his head, "I don't know!?"

"we'll get them back." Janus told him, "do you know where the tunnel is?"

Virgil nodded, banking down into the trees. Almost immediately three Rainwing's and three Nightwings blocked the way.

"Ah, you dragonets again." Deathbringer tilted his head, "shouldn't you be in your cave studying?"

Augustus stepped up, "sorry, it's an emergency. We need to get through to rescue two idiots."

"two?" Deathbringer scanned over them, "Razzle and Dazzle! Are you saying they went through!?"

Virgil nodded, "and the volcano is about to erupt again! We need to get them!"

"how do you know?" Deathbringer asked, "I don't think you have prophecy powers."

"I-I, um-" Virge stammered.

"based on statistics of this particular volcano, it is due to erupt again soon." Logan told him.

Deathbringer huffed, "fine. But I'm going with you."

Well, I was gonna suggest that you explore the tunnel all by yourself, but good job taking initiative Remus! Also someone else sent your friends to come ‘rescue’ you. Just FYI. -bad influence

"that... Might not be a bad idea..." Remus said, shaking from horns to tail.

He followed the tunnel in the volcano down to a large cave. There was a large cauldron of bubbling lava, and right outside of it, was a huge dragon made of ice. They seemed to be lurching towards Remus with claws outstretched.

A rumble shook the volcano, causing small rocks to fall from the ceiling.

"I-I should get out of here!" Remus said darting out of the cave.

Fine, since that didn't work. Could I possibly give Glory a note saying someone went into the other tunnel?

Glory looks up as a piece of paper flutters onto her desk. She picks it up and snorts.

"okay, which one of you thought this was a funny prank?” Glory huffed.

There was no response. She sighed.

"Deathbringer, can you make sure the tunnel is guarded?" Glory asked the Nightwing.

"of course, my queen." Deathbringer bumped noses with her before flying out to check the tunnel.

Guys! Remus has run off to the other tunnel!

And as promised, I am going to try to pull him back.

"He WHAT!?" Virgil jumped up.

"what!?" Roman whipped his head around, "where did he go!?"

"we have to tell Queen Glory!" Virgil said, his breathing coming in quick gasps, "she can send someone to get him-!"

"or we could bring him back." Janus shrugged.

Augustus wrinkled his nose, "hmm no. Not if it's going to be like the desert. It's going to take weeks for my scales to recover..."

"my brother is gone!" Roman cried, "we have to go get him!"

"I dunno kiddo..." Patton shrugged, "maybe it's best to let some other dragon bring him back..."

Logan's tail flicked, "but what if we don't have time? Virgil said it was dangerous, what if he's hurt? Or worse..."

Pale green and white flooded Romans scales. He leapt out of the window to their cave and started flying towards the rainforest.

Patton sighed, "well I guess we're going after him..."

Augustus groaned, "fine!"

Remus felt a small tug on his tail, but he shook it off. The further down he went into the tunnel, the hotter it got. And yet there was an ice cold breeze that made him shiver.

Oh cool! Is this cave spooky too? Are you gonna tell the others? -bad influence anon

"it's really spooky!" Remus shivered, flying over the patches of lava, "but I'm pretty sure this is an active volcano. I wonder why there's a tunnel here..."

Remus spotted a cave in the side of the volcano. It seems to have been blasted out with fire, recently.

"... Well I can't not look at that!" Remus swooped down into the cave.

Remus! No! Go back to the others! I will drag you back if I have to! It's extremely dangerous!

Remus rolled his eyes as he walked through, "oh come on, it's not that- EEP!"

In the middle of the tunnel, was a large Nightwing. His mouth was open and talons outstretched, like he was leaping towards the intruder. But the dragon was petrified. His scales weren't the normal glossy black of a typical Nightwing, but a dull, dark grey stone.

Remus pressed a talon to his chest, feeling his rapid heartbeat, "I'm just gonna go around... That's really spooky... I wonder if I can take it home?"

The tunnel sloped sharply as Remus continued, getting spit out in a place that smelled like ash and death. A volcano.

Soooo…how are those papers coming along? Remus, are you really not gonna do something like this again? I feel like you and Roman would do this a lot more if you didn’t have Logan or Virgil trying to “talk some sense” into you.

"what?” Remus perked his head up, bright yellow curling through his ruff, "oh! I'm already looking for the tunnel! I left as soon as Virgil admitted there was another tunnel!"

The green dragon hummed, searching around the first tunnel. He wandered around for a bit before he felt that same strange bugs-in-your-scales feeling from a dark circle halfway up a tree.

Remus grinned, "Found it!"
