Jean Grey's Teachings (#1) Feat. Rogue

Something that even us X-Men struggle to fully understand is that, our mutations are entirely unique. They adapt and evolve based on things we've been through, just like us.

I'm saying this as a reminder to everyone that, just because something happens and you feel like everything is beginning to spiral out of control, that everything is going to end. Just take a step back, take a deep breath, and look at it from another angle.

When my mutation first appeared, I accidentally killed my mother. My father nearly followed afterwards. I didn't know what was happening at first, and when Professor Xavier came to me, promising to teach me how to control it, I had been scared.

Being scared about something new like that is not a bad thing. I was scared, and I know another X-Men who was scared; and even still is sometimes.

For context, I nearly killed my first boyfriend with a kiss. He was in a coma for nearly a week and we didn't stay together for long after that. I didn't stay with my family for long either, as they didn't want a "mutant freak" like me around; especially not with a small child in the house still.

I'm still working on not having the belief that I cannot touch anyone because all I do is hurt, because our mutations also take after us. If we are scared of hurting others, it's going to lash out from being held so tightly and do exactly what we are afraid of.

Even after learning this, and beginning to work on breaking those barriers with the help of Jean and Gambit, there are still days I cover myself head to toe for their safety and my comfort.

Everything takes time, isn't that right?

Morph's Rambles (#1)

I have to say, watching Wolverine tackle Gambit into the pool is highly amusing. I wish I'd gotten in on video, though... I think maybe Jubilee did! Not sure what Gambit was originally doing, that close to the pool, but Rogue and Jubilee had their camera's out and were giggling to each other about something.

Wonder if they would send that if I asked... Wolvie might like it! But also, maybe not... Gambit just set off a few cards and Wolverine's looking a small bit smokey.

Scott Summers Lectures (#1)

There are reasons that we do not allow Wolverine and Gambit to spar anywhere but our designated sparring areas. There is a huge one that I am going to point out.

Gambit blows up anything he needs to in order to fight.

Wolverine shreds or tears apart everything in retaliation.

That being said. We have to now fix the lawn before the Professor sees, and then convince Wolverine to let go of whatever Gambit did to piss him off this badly.

You know Scott, I don't think it was a genuine fight this time. It could have just been for fun.

That's worse Jean, so much worse.

Note to self, do not tease Wolverine when Morph is off on a mission or out of the mansion. He's more grumpy than normal, and now Gambit's too sore to hang out with Rogue the way he want to.

Jubilee Talks (#1)

If anyone wishes to know, Gambit stares at Rogue with just about actual hearts in his eyes whenever she scolds someone. Like, I didn't know that was an actual thing before seeing it happen.

But also, Rogue is like, really scary when she wants to be. I thought that the guy who tried to rob me was going to pee his pants with how scared he looked, and all she was doing was smiling and telling him why everything he had done was wrong with a few well placed southern phrases.

Jubilee's Introduction

'sup! I'm Jubilation Lee, though everyone calls me Jubilee. I much prefer the nickname to my real name. I'm an omega, plus I'm the youngest on the team!

I'm still learning how to control my mutation, so I'm hoping to write this quick. I don't want to fry another computer, or my phone. That would be just awful.

I'm excited to see all the questions, and hey! Maybe we can help other mutants out there who are struggling with their mutations too! And, for those who aren't mutants, maybe we can answer questions about what it's like to be a mutant!

Storm's Introduction

Hello, the name is Storm, though my friends known me as Ororo. I prefer Storm for the mean time.

I'm an Alpha, and like my fellow Alpha's, I am very protective of my pack. Though, in a much different way. Wolverine is all brute force, and Gambit is all about destroying a reputation if needed. I won't tell you how I go about getting revenge, or about protecting my pack, until I absolutely need to.

Amongst the guys, I'm closest with Gambit and Wolverine, both who are alphas, because they understand in a way the others won't. And amongst the girls, I am absolutely closest to Rogue, though Jubilee is also fun to hang out with. She has a very different view on the world around us.

I cannot wait to get to know what everyone wants to know, and getting to know anyone who asks more questions than others. Familiarity and everything, I hope you understand.

Gambit's Introduction

Salut, mes amis, name's Gambit but you can call me Remy, Remy LeBeau. Gambit's an Alpha, and he have his eyes set on one person, and one person only.

I like to play with cards, and it's one of my 'weapons' that I use to fight the bad guys that attack my pack. I like to bake and cook for my chère and those who happen to be in the room at the time of the goods are done.

Questions are open once all of these introductions are done, something the professor said. We have to wait to answer them until the last one's done. Don't worry though, the last one will be done soon. There's not too many of us.

Morph's Introduction

Hiya! I'm Morph, though I'm also known as Kevin. I would prefer if only my friends called me Kevin, as they know me best, but I will still answer to it if you guys give me questions by calling me Kevin.

I'm a Beta, though I have a special ability of smelling everyone's scents like I was an Alpha or an Omega, which sometimes concerns Lo-, sorry, Wolverine. Says that isn't supposed to be a thing, but Gambit reassures me that it's nothing bad; he knew a lot of others that were like that too.

I can shapeshift into other people, sort of like a mimic. No, I am not like Mystique, though that is something that others have wondered before.

I can't wait to see what others want to know about us!

Jean says that we have to have an Introduction to who we are, so... here I am.

Hello, I'm Cyclops, but my friends know me as Scott Summers. I have an older brother that I do not talk about. I am a co leader of the X-Men, a group of mutants that fight against Mutant Oppression and protect all those in need.

I am a Beta, though I don't see why that is important for me to share. And I am mated to Jean, much to the despair of some others.

Ask us questions and we'll go about answering them when we have the time to. Though don't expect anything too detailed, as we still need to keep ourselves safe.

We'll answer what we are comfortable answering in the detail we are comfortable with, Scott.

Hello, my name is Jean Grey, though on the field I am known as Phoenix. It was suggested by Professor X for the team to open up a "Q & A" so that everyone can get to know us better.

We'll have everyone make an introduction post to who they are, and of course, we all have an assigned color, and title's will be in all regular text, just so that everyone knows the point of the post, and so that you can quickly find information if you are looking for it.

I am a Beta, and a Co-Leader to the X-Men, normally I stay close to home but I do go out on the field to help my team make it home all in one piece. I am mated to Scott, and we take care of our team to the best of our ability.

I'm excited to see what everyone wants to know about us, which wasn't something I was quite expecting.

Wolverine is an Alpha, when he is answering an ask, his message will be bolded.

Morph, also known as Kevin Sydney to the X-Men

Morph is a Beta, when they answer an ask, their message will be blue.

Rogue, previously known as Anna-Marie Darkholme

Rogue is an Omega, when she answers asks, her message will be in green.

Gambit, who is better known to the X-Men as Remy LeBeau

Gambit is an Alpha, when he answers asks, his messages will be in purple.

Storm, who is better known as Ororo Munroe to her friends

Storm is an Alpha, when Storm answers asks, her messages will be italicized.

Jubilee, or also known as Jubilation Lee to those who care for her the most

Jubilee is an Omega, when she answers asks, her messages will be pink.

Alpha's

Alpha's have 'rougher' or bold and strong scents, and in nature are more protective of their pack in a more forceful way. They will put themselves on the front line / in between danger and their pack. They have the strong urge to provide for their packmates and they feel just about awful when they can't do so.

Alpha's have two types of ruts; "Regular" Ruts and Soft Heats. "Regular" Ruts are where the Alpha has a higher need or urge for sex or the need for a fight. They are more aggressive in nature during this time to anyone who is not their own pack---though of course other Alpha's can cause them to be more irritable even if they are packmates.

Soft Heats are when the Alpha/s want to protect or provide for their packs more urgently than normally. They like to keep their pack all close by and or in view, providing for their every need and just generally care for them.

Alpha's can get Rut sick; Rut Sickness is when an Alpha skips a rut too many times and their body starts to shut down, even if they are completely healthy otherwise---even if it's a biological reason for the lack of ruts.

When sick, an Alpha's scent get very sour and bitter, and when they are in Rut their scents get very strong, and even bolder than usual to get their Omega or Beta's attention for help.

Beta's

Beta's have a neutral scent that can lean either bold and strong or soft and sweet. They don't really have Heats or Ruts on their own, however they are able to be influenced by an Alpha's Rut scent or an Omega's Heat scent. They can be influenced into soft heats and "regular" heats.

They can be a substitute for an Alpha or Omega during the opposites Rut / Heat though they won't really bring satisfaction to an Omega like a natural Alpha would.

They are otherwise like normal "humans" in any other universe other than the fact that they make the best leaders as their instincts are not as strong as Alpha's or Omega's.

When Beta's get sick, their scent gets very bitter and rotten smelling, often indicating of an underlying problem (i.e. that they might by dying or that they were not actually a Beta like they thought).

Omega's

Omega's have slightly sweeter but soft scents, and in nature they are more caring to those around them (but most especially their pack) but make no mistake, they are fiercely protective of their packmates. They can be scarily fierce if they feel like their pack is being threatened.

Omega's experience two types of heats; "Regular" Heats, and Soft Heats. "Regular" Heats are when the Omega's have fevers and have a strong urge to mate with their mate, and conceive a child (or as people affectionately refer to children as; pup/s). Soft Heats are when the Omega just wants to be around their mate, pup/s, or pack. They are cuddly and affectionate, though they are still feverish and 'weak' feeling.

Omega's also have the risk of Heat Sickness, which is when an Omega skips a heat too many times and their body starts to shut down, even if they are completely healthy otherwise---even if it's a biological reason for the lack of heats.

When Omega's are sick, their scents turn sour and rotten, when they are in heat, their scents turn very sweet and get stronger in nature to get their Alpha or their Beta's attention for help.

Rules

When asking questions to Jubilee or about Jubilee, absolutely nothing inappropriate. Everything I know about her indicates that she is a child! In the show on my attempt of watching it, she is literally 13 years old.

I will answers asks about the adults heats / ruts if asked In specific, but everything may end up being under a cut OR I will create a tag on the blog that people can block if they wish to not see information on that topic.

Please be patient after sending an ask, I work and am about to be a near full time college student, plus I write fanfiction and would still like to keep the ability to be able to attend to my hobbies and personal life.

No hating on characters! At all! No characters will be accepted to be hated, villain or otherwise (other than Sinister, but he's also the only main villain I know of)

Not so much of a rule, but in the future, more characters can be added, like Magneto or Xavier, but I want to just handle / manage who I have listed as above. The characters I do have can and will answer questions about them, and other characters from The Animated Series / '97 but please know I don't know all of them / don't know many of them.

Another not so much of a rule, but rules can be added and changed as time goes on! I am only one person, and I can make mistakes, and I know everyone else can make mistakes, it's how we live and learn, so long as we are also learning. So if something comes up, and it creates a rule, DO NOT feel bad about it! We live and we learn.
