Saw someone in the box using an emoji sign off and I’ve seen some other blogs use that feature so I have added a section for claimed signoffs in the pinned post. Single emoji or multiple I don’t mind/gen

ASPD traits culture is being pleasantly surprised when you find a friend that's actually willing to indulge your little curiosities because you don't have empathy, they have a Fuckton of empathy, but you're both curious about what the other was like.
First time I've described legitimately not caring about someone as a person, to their face, and not had them get mad.
If it didn't literally just happen I would think myself a liar. Which I am but not in this context. There's no benefit to me.

ASPD culture is stalking your old managers' Facebooks to verbally assault them in their DMs just to feel something, and because they had it coming for talking down on you, and treating you like you're beneath them, even though you're always the one who has the last laugh, and then feeling like you want to shoot yourself when you exit social media just because the boredom and anger sets in, and you can't have a conventional job, because you see bosses as the parasites that they are.

ASPD culture is hanging out with friends and realizing they expect things of you now that you’re friends and going, oh man, I am in it deep.
How did I end up here
aspd-culture-is
Fvckkkk I feel this so much. I’ve been talking to my therapist recently about how I have a history of wishing I’d never talked to anyone and that I could just lock myself away like I used to before I let people in. It’s hard, but I think it’s still worth it for a couple people. I’d be no one going nowhere without my best friend.
Plain text below the cut:

aspd culture is people think of us as apathetic children who never cry isolated from the rest of the world because we’re different, when as a child i often cried and never felt accepted because i was mistreated when i was just trying to exist (i just stopped giving a fuck lol)

Yeah, honestly they don’t seem to realize we can’t be diagnosed under 18 for a reason. We didn’t have ASPD under 18. It wasn’t set yet. We were just kids slowly developing into someone entirely different from everyone we know and being treated like crap while we do, pushing the process along even faster. That’s scary and traumatizing and they act like we were monsters even as kids. Their ableism knows no bounds and it’s really gross.

ASPD culture is feeling like you don't fit with pro-socials but also feeling like you don't fit with most antisocials either.

Aspd culture is having aspd and autism and learning how to mask really early, enough so that your overt symptoms could be blamed on autism, and that now that you've done research and figured it ou, you can't seek for a diagnosis because the diagnostic criteria for your country is that people over the age of 18 cannot be diagnosed with ASPD
Wait, genuinely what country has that weird rule?/genq Generally ASPD can’t be diagnosed under 18.

ASPD culture is the hatred and rage whenever someone asks you to smile.

My favorite thing to do (if it’s a stranger or jokingly with my friend) is go full flat affect. Make their skin crawl until they regret both asking me to do that and also being born.

aspd culture with memory issues is overclocking your brain trying to think of a way to politely say "i don't care about this situation" to a friend to the point you give yourself a headache, giving up because you'll look like an asshole whether you do or don't say something, then finally remembering flat affect and using that to explain
and then giving an "i don't care" anyway because they asked you a follow-up question that got on your nerves even more.

Aspd culture is any time you actually feel something other than boredom, anger/annoyance or apathy you just get a random pang in your chest for a second. Like thanks, what the fuck does this mean
aspd-culture-is
I unfortunately think that pang in your chest is how prosocials feel strong emotion. I hate it and it makes me feel like I’m either having a heart attack or am gonna get sick.

aspd + szpd culture is being very perceptive and rather accurate in my analysis of others' emotions, which fools people into thinking I'm empathetic. I'm not, I really just want to get this whole interaction over with and the fastest way to do that is spelling it out so I don't have to sit with them trying to figure out their emotions and what caused them. hurry up and process so I can go back to what I actually want to be doing and stop pretending to care.
