Hey it's that once guy who made a Mr rad fanfic based off yours! I had an idea about how Mr Rad & Lux Imperator could go out of the theater, and it's an idea I've had for a fic for awhile now!

Something something, they somehow get their hands on a lantern, one that isn't electrical (as we know they don't grow much from non natural light) and since lanterns get really bright, they can stay outside for hours during the nighttime!

As obviously, morning is too much, evening is too short, and nighttime might kill them lol

Something something they have to do chores around the theater in order to convince Reginald to buy them lanterns so they could get lanterns. And knowing Reginald, he's not going to be very lenient lol!

Poor toons on their knees begging Mr Reginald to cough up the money to buy them one. Lux it terrible at playing his part as Reginald knows him to well, but Mr. Ring-a-Ding is at least more convincing. Finally he agrees to get them one, if they tidy everything up and give him a break. Finally outside it's mostly just Lux trying his best to keep a tight leash on Ring but of course it ends up with his time outside being him desperately trying to find the toon before the sun comes up again.

Lux is losing his mind with stress and they fact he's trying his best to not be seen, meanwhile Ring is having the best time of his life. So many strange things here, so realistic! Not to mention all the new smells and sights to see. Not to mention a real night sky to look at!

Eventually Lux is able to find his run away toon, just sighting on a roof star gazing. After a few choice words he finally just gives up and joins him and they spend their first night outside just quietly watching the night pass, until the first rays of dawn appear.
