it's always so fascinating and heartbreaking when a character in a story is simultaneously idolized and abused. a chosen prophet destined for martyrdom. a child prodigy forced to grow up too fast. a powerful warrior raised as nothing but a weapon. there's just something so uniquely messed up about singing someone's praises whilst destroying them.
Instead of turning his mic during 'you were my because' Louis was serenading the song to Harry in the box. So, now we have Harry doing all kinds of things around London. Fair enough
It’s here. It’s yours, it’s mine, it’s ours. It’s an album I wrote alone about the whims, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I lived out as a young woman between 18 and 20. I remember making tracklist after tracklist, obsessing over the right way to tell the story. I had to be ruthless with my choices, and I left behind some songs I am still unfailingly proud of now. Therefore, you have 6 From The Vault tracks! I recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up, now) and the memories it brought back filled me with nostalgia and appreciation. For life, for you, for the fact that I get to reclaim my work. Thank you a million times, for the memories that break our fall. 💥🐉🏰 Speak Now (MY VERSION!) is out now.

I often think about how in bigger than the whole sky Taylor talkes about having to live without a lot of things and yes, it's relatable for a lot of us who had a lot of dreams but were never able to watch them come true. It's sad really but from her own point of view or rather from the perspective of people in the industry, it's a whole other level of sad. They deserve a life where they can enjoy everything that they ever hoped for. A normal life, a private life away from stalking and crazy. She screams those lyrics to the people who can make that change and yet we fail to take action. What if, we weren't so obsessive? What if we didn't tell them over and over again that our happiness depends on them? What if we stopped sharing our opinions on their life? Whatif we just supported them? Maybe they could be happy. Perhaps, every queer closeted artist could be free. They could all have a life without having to decide every day what is real and fake.
