Well, perhaps involving myself in the Splicesome event might be able to help me get my inspiration for Kyle back. That said, here’s what you need to know about Kyle.

- Kyle’s magic is item based, meaning that the blue belt buckle you see on his outfit is what’s used to power his magic. See here for more details about his magic (scroll down to the abilities part). He doesn’t have access to any of the spells above low tier right now, though.

- Kyle has one major repressed memory: his father’s death. Despite the fact that he doesn’t remember that his father died, he constantly has nightmares about a man with dark skin and blue hair attacking his father, which is essentially what really did happen. Of course, he never actually sees the moment when his father dies in his nightmares, so he doesn’t put two and two together.

- His sword skills are novice level at best. That said, he is able to use an attack called Azure Edge, which essentially fires a teal shockwave a short distance through the air. This is the most advanced technique he possesses right now.

- Personality is essentially that of a highly enthusiastic kid who doesn’t let anything get him down and is super excited about wanting to become a hero.

That said, I guess this is a call for anybody interested in participating in the event with this little guy.

“But do they ever jab their feet with ‘em? I feel like they’d be pretty embarrassing heroes if they did…” 

Ah, Wolfwood, ever eager to point out the flaws in super cool moves like that. Especially to kids. “It’d be cooler if it could move on its own.” Maybe he is a kid at heart…

Snickering, Wolfwood grants him one last pat to the crown of his hair to flatten out the hopeless strands, then holds his palms up in surrender.

“Sorry, sorry, its a habit when I hear dorks. At least it wasn’t a noogie. But you didn’t answer my question.”

{英雄} “...Well of course they don’t jab their feet with their swords! They get lots of practice making sure they don’t stab themselves. And I need practice myself in order to be able to do cool moves.” It was a good thing he had a wooden weapon, as otherwise he’d likely have impaled himself by now.

At this point, the blond kid didn’t even remember what he had been asked. He was too worked up over having his hair messed with to recall. Gloved hands reached up in an attempt to fix his hair, trying to get the points to stick up properly once more. They were standing again in no time, but a bit off kilter, as he didn’t have a mirror to look at right now. “...I probably would be even madder at you if you had given me a noogie, you know...”

Looking through the reservations, I just realized that somebody reserved Leon Magnus! Kyle’s uncle is coming to the Hive!

The boy’s reaction brought hints of a smile to his face. “I wouldn’t mind at all. I taught a boy about your age before, I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem. Before we do anything, however, I’m going to need to know your name.”

{英雄} “Ah! I see!” The blond kid was very thrilled that somebody who had experience teaching swordplay had shown an interest in helping him out. Of course he was going to accept and not even think twice about whether or not the other was trying to trick him. It might have been foolish, but Kyle’s hero intuition made him think it was going to be all right. “Anyway, my name’s Kyle Dunamis! What’s yours?”

Nobody -> Citizen

{英雄} “All right! I can’t believe it’s already been a month since I came here! Looks like I’m officially a citizen of this place now!” And that meant he finally had a working cell phone and computer with internet!

...Too bad he’s from the middle of nowhere and doesn’t know how to actually use either of them. Oh well, hopefully he’ll learn soon enough.

{英雄} “...Really?” The thought of learning swordplay from somebody who appeared to be quite skilled in the art was exciting to the young wannabe hero. “That sounds great! I don’t mind being taught new sword stuff! It’ll only make me better, perhaps maybe even as good as my dad one day!”
