He'd been doing this job way too long to be this instinctive, thinking to himself as he dodged the hardbound aimed at his head. He didn't bother picking up the book and instead, watched the young woman glare at him. He was very good at maintaning a facade; he still remembered that day he found her in a very awkward position in her room. She was upset with that, he was sure. And the fact she was restricted to be out and about like Eon.

The pointing finger soon reached him and it punctuated each word the young Im spatted out as it dug into his chest. He let it happen, standing in front of the young woman with his hands behind his back. "You don't have to speak to me but you will do what is expected of you," he said, his usually firm tone softened by the fact that he understood the anger, the pain.

"It wasn't my choice," he finally said, jaw clenched. "You needed to be safe. Eon - There's a plan for your brother. And you might not be sharing that path. You care about him but from now on, you have to think about yourself. How you're going to survive whatever is coming our way as a family," he said, releasing his right hand to reach, catching Eunbin's wrist. "You can take your anger out at me anytime you want," he kept her hand pointing at his chest. "But you're going to have to accept at one point that I'm always going to be around, whether you like it or not. Also - that's still Shiro-oppa to you, young lady."

Bunnie's preference the past few days was to be alone. Thoughts could be kept silent, only accompanied by the sound from her headphones. Tonight was no different. Sleep avoided her and she found herself roaming through the halls of their family's home. She always landed in the library. Comforted by the leather bound pages. Some in English and other languages they'd been forced to learn throughout their years of study. Others in the language of their family traced back to the origins of their founding clan. She always outlined the characters on the page with the tips of her fingers. Drifting from reading to singing and back to reading. She didn't hear Mireu when he entered the study. Mostly due to the music and the Billie Eilish lyrics she sung along to. She didn't hear him when he spoke to her either. What she did do on queue was turn and out of a response to being startled, she tossed the book in her hand towards his head.

Removing her headphones, she groaned in annoyance, "You've got to stop doing that." Immediately she remembered he was on the list of people she was refusing to speak to. In fact his name was at the top of the list. Her face hardened, "I'm not speaking to you or did you forget." Rolling her eyes, "Next time I won't miss your head." She was still angry and hurt by what had been kept from both her and Eon. She immediately forgot her stance.

Stomping towards him, Bunnie pointed her finger until she reached him and poked at his chest, "Why did you watch Eon destroy himself with guilt, knowing the whole time Shiro was alive. Why?"

Mireu made his way down the hallway of the Im ancestral home's second floor after finding Eunbin's room empty. It was middle of the night and the young Im roamed the estate without a guard. One of his men hurriedly approached him to informed him where one of the twins were. He turned and made a bee-line to the library where he found the young woman who he knew still held grudges against him. It didn't bother him, for the most part, whether Eunbin found him agreeable or not. His job was to keep the young woman safe and that was all that mattered.

"Eunbin-ssi," he called out after closing the door to the library, his deep voice echoing in the vast room. He spotted her among piles and shelves of books. "You are allowed to move freely inside the estate but remember to let someone know your whereabouts," he reminded her, expecting her to be defiant. He was ready in case he was met with something flying over his head this time. He approached, keeping his eyes on her...

The realization that Shiro us alive and has been all this time has yet to fully sink in with Bunnie. She's angry about the lie being concealed from her but most importantly her twin brother.
