what i love the most about this show is that we don't get the stupid miscommunication trope

like okay we have the secrets and things both jack and joke are doing that are not said out loud but you can understand it if you get their characters

main example here being grandma who out right scolded jack for thinking that boss was the one who sped up her surgery, it could've been another silly miscommunication thing but they said no, no need for that, jack needs to appreciate joker more

sure there is still A LOT for them to go through but the miscommunication we have now resonates with their characters aka the wannabe hero and a fool in love, both of them think that they can solve the problems on their own and not bring the other person into it but it is still justified more or less

Sand thought he was aiming a bullet when he turned Ray on Top with the knowledge of cheating but Boston turned that bullet into a grenade that had to explode. That's why Sand tried to stop Ray on the stage and at the bar. He only wanted a bullet aimed at Top and Mew, not a grenade destroying Ray's entire life. That's why Sand chased Ray and will forgive him his anger. Because Sand set him up as a bullet and then watched him explode and he knows that Ray is not immune to shrapnel and he watched his plan of revenge turn into the self-destruction of a person he loves.

sand really chose the worst fucking moment for his confession he was like "oh we're fighting??? yeah let me tell you i actually can't tell the difference between lust and love anymore and i very much care about you but go on"

best episode so far ngl i was hooked from the beginning until the end even topmew started to get interesting and then the twist??? I'm starting to like mew bro better don't fuck this up

and I'm not even gonna say anything about sand because the plotting was justtt * chef's kiss* but i may be biased since he's my fav from the very start

i love sandray sweet moments but what i love more is angst and suffering and they are perfect in that version

i'm bored of topmew relationship so much like they are so cold despite being the only "real" couple?¿ the secrets and lack of trust you can see in every glance are saying everything also the "i love you" thing? yeah fuck no

it's good idea but i just can't help being not interested in their storyline
