She took out the aforementioned wedding invitation and held it out to Rock. It entailed the full details of the wedding – day, time, etc – but it also included such things as the hotel guests were more than welcome to stay as well as. 

Hokkaido was such a nice place though. And it’d be a shame if they went there only for them to leave immediately after the reception. She’s been there before, but it would also make for a good time for the two of them. Like a couple’s getaway.!

“But if we’re going to Hokkaido, we should stay there a few days after! There’s a buncha cool stuff there that you might like! So if you wanted to stay…” Her words wavered as she made such.. Intense eye-contact with her boyfriend; her eyes wide and absolutely doe-like. Almost but she definitely was as if she was pleading for him to agree.

She’d have to properly thank the kind stranger for wanting to go with her so readily. And he was already dressed pretty dapperly, so she wouldn’t even have to take him shopping for a nice suit!

“Good to see ya’ too!”

She’d lead them further along the row, where she and their family had sat – both her mother and grandmother giving Amai a curt wave at their arrival. They, their mom moreso than grandmother, had heard bits and pieces of this ‘Amai’ character from both the siblings. Their relationship with either Quin or Andrew was nothing beyond platonic – a good friend looking to support Andrew in one of his first big performances in a while.

“Yeah these big shows here are always a helluva time. But ‘m glad ya could make it! ‘Drew was hella excited for you to be here."

The honeysweet nickname and the kiss they left lingered, leaving Andrew to break out into a smittened grin; crooked, but his cheeks burning in adoration. He watched them disappear into the auditorium before going backstage to join the other orchestra members.

He was already trembling with excitement to be playing for everyone, but Amai's presence was all the more reason for him to be aiming to impress all of them. He had a small secret up his sleeve; one he was struggling to keep from his family alone, but he just knew that it'd be worth it in the end.

His sister had been on the lookout for Amai, glancing between her phone and the nearest set of double doors. But when she finally spotted him in the wave of attendees, she stood and held her hand high, waving for his attention.

"Amai! Over here!"

Farfetch’d was quick to stand between Jolteon and Grimer, deflecting the ball of sludge right back with his stick! And Psyduck, using the last of its strength, shot a blast of water to follow up on the attack! 

Amai’s pokemon were fighting hard and she was honestly grateful that this new trainer was around to help. These Team Rocket grunts, they most certainly had more than a few run ins with this guy. She wondered if he was after them.

The Grimer got knocked back and its "Trainer" stomped in frustration as Rock and Jolteon jumped into the fray.

"Jolteon, use Shadow Ball! Hit Ekans!" Jolteon fired a black ball at the snake Pokemon, sending it careening back into its grunt.

"Not that kid and his Jolteon..." The grunt growled and pointed at Rock. "Grimer, use Sludge on Jolteon!

Believe it or not, she was really enjoying getting to hang out with this friend's sister. Dare she say she might've had a bit of a crush on her. But you didn't hear that from Fujiko.

"With me?" Though she knew she wasn't the most mature girl on the block, that would go to Reid or Akemi, she didn't think that she was completely childish. She could be mature! She just likes to be a little bit whimsical.
