Honestly? LOVE the implications of this scene-

That Crow girl was specifically waiting for Aqua and Ruby to take a trip to Miyazaki.. Like, was she just waiting all the way over there already? Was she nearby them, and then left to Miyazaki beforehand??

I bet the crows like give her information on what's happening around, and so she's just been sitting alone in Miyazaki until she becomes actually useful-

Yup, yup, and that's the true reason behind her little 'heh' at the end 🤔

Now, onto what I was going to talk about.. is the meemability of this panel!

Aqua's roles

Throughout the manga, the funniest thing to me is how, no matter who he acts as, he is never able to escape Ai's death.

Chapter 12, Aqua acts as the Agency's scout to gather info. When he finally shows the card, it say the name 'Hikaru Kanzaki'. Hikaru, the same name as his father.

During 'Sweet Today' Aqua acts as a stalker who goes against the female lead, same as Ryosuke, the stalker who stabbed and killed Ai.

When we get to Tokyo Blade's stage play, and plays the character, Touki. Aqua and Touki share similar vibes, both being more reserved and not showing vulnerability to others.. the main similarity between them? They both saw a loved one die Infront of them.

To through salt into the wound, Sayahime was able to come back to life, something Ai was never fortunate enough to have.

A world where Ai could live is something Aqua had always dreamed of, and to see what he so wished for to happen only in fiction hurt, it was frustrating and sad, those feelings of helplessness and resentment resurfaced in that moment.. and yet, even in that moment, a small sense of hope shined through, that maybe, just maybe.. Ai had a chance to live.

Lastly, the most important role is in the '15 Year Lie' movie, as Hikaru Kamiki, his and Ruby's father, and the one responsible for Ai's death. Hikaru Kanzaki is the role that introduced us to Aqua's acting as a teen, and Hikaru Kamiki will be the last.

Oshi no Ko - Twin habits

Throughout reading Oshi no Ko and watching it's anime, I noticed the cute habit the twins have of using other people's words

Of course, Aqua most commonly uses Gotanda's words with others(Basically his dad at this point). This is most likely since Aqua does have some respect for him, even if he acts like a man-child. He is the main person who has supported him, and the one he's most willing to trust.

Like Aqua, Ruby tends to use advice others have given her. Though I believe half of the reason was so Ruby could make herself seem more mature to Minami.

Lastly I just need to talk about this! And yet, the translation for Ai's words for when I was reading the manga were way closer to Aqua's then the one I chose. I think it's interesting how they both share this habit, something that both twins have probably done more of in the past.
