To live a life of love

Poetry is a wonderful form of release , so I thought what better way than this to express all the love, admiration and deep respect I have for two brilliant individuals- Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo who changed my life trajectory for the better ever since I got to know about them. Here's "To live a life of love" , dedicated to those who enriched my life with depth and motivated me to pursue my dreams and live freely.

At a time when the void started pulling me back again, When my mind was burdened with endless screams, When everything around me was falling into chaos, That is when I chanced upon you two.

I love deeply but only those who exist in my mind, I'd rather not take my chance with the lies and betrayal of these masked beings, But then I saw those black and white robes And nothing could have prepared me for the impossibility of not being struck by you.

It wasn’t your clothes that attracted me or your looks, It wasn’t the glory or the fame. I was scared of falling too deeply For I knew I could never even meet you.

But when you spoke of hard work and of challenges, When you spoke the brutal truth amidst all this deception, When you described your true heart that was full of wonder, How could I not be enchanted you?

You are a passionate dreamer, The one who has unlocked the secret the life, You live in the present and pursue all your desires, How could I not get inspired by you?

Life is an uphill journey, You realise that. You brave people's mockery and continue striving forward, Stumbling, standing, singing, dancing, You are a hope for thousands who zealously march behind you.

You make the rules of your world That don’t entertain the fickle masses. You encourage all to stand up , Embrace life and all its loveliness, You are a bystander who enjoys and tells the stories of many .

At the time when all hated you, You spread the message of love, You understand and marvel at the intricacies of human nature And forge your own path, walking on the broken road Heading straight into the unknown .

Looking at you, I know that no matter what I'll stay strong, With grit and courage, I'll always head towards my lighthouse, my core. Life may throw its curveballs at me, But with you by my side I'd wave my hands and continue climbing, To stand atop that tall cliff, To bathe in the sunlight and breathe in the fresh air And paint the new scenery of my world Where I start living a life of love.
