I had visitors today; @saradelesiekeramiek and @dre_bysara (my cousin) and their kiddo’s renee and marcus. the last one, is also my godchild, he was in love with the pigeons today #duivenmelkerinspe 🐦. they already took part of the work that I sell at the open doors*. it gave me so much enthusiasm and energy that when they went home, i continued working for an hour or two to print extra postcards for sunday! about #typographicwork 12/03 is the open house at @saradelesiekeramiek. for those open doors she always asks me to make cards to give to the customers. we always works with the nice photographs of @ambervanbossel. for this time we would add the quote "everything that gets energy grows" printed in the old way ; for the layout i try to use the maximum of the sheet. here we chose 5 different postcards on which she wrote a hand writtn "thank you" ; i printed the design in riso (@frausteinerstudio); it is a digital printing technique that is very tactile. each print feels unique and different: a philosophy that is important to sara and me; as a second layer, I printed the quote in typography on it; the combination of the graphic design (computer), risography and typography + the fact that every centimeter of the paper is used (so no leftovers), printed in small quantities, a varied offer for the customer, eco- and energy-friendly (for both print techniques; riso and typo) and a nice price/quality offer for the customer checks all the boxes of my values. . www.astridfieuws.com rue pletinckxstraat 27, 1000 brussels (open by apointeent or by chance). . ik parle ook #nederlands et du #francais. i’m a #dislectic #graphicdesigner and #typographer with a #passionforpaper and #printtechniques. i grow up in a #printingfamily and i’ve been playing with #paperleftovers all my life. this is my inspiration en red line in my #unique #papetery work.
