Our Unexpected Journey

This is astoball's and toaster's first blog and is written by astroball.

Today we had decided to go to the nearest Cex store to buy a James Bond CD. After finding the correct bus stop we waiting there for the bus to arrive, whilst waiting we bought a snack which was included a sandwich, pringles and a bottle of Pepsi.

Once the bus arrived we got on, it was all going good until I had gotten a call from our uncle. I hung up on him twice as I believed that if i had answered in the bus he would hear the noise and question where we were.

We got off at the next stop and answered his call. "Hello"? , I said.

"Hello, he said back, "why did you hang up on me twice"?

"w..we were watching youtube and wanted to finish out video before we answered you", this is the excuse i had thought of instead of telling him we were on a bus and now we were in a neighbourhood that we have neve been in before.

I told him that we were somewhere i was somewhere in my old neighbourhood. He believed me and then i hung up.

We then realised that we could not get back on the bus and therefore had to find another way to get to where we wanted to go. We began to walk and walk and walk until we reached a building, this building was a studio. This was good thing as we then knew that we were not that far away from where we wanted to go.

We decided to call a taxi to drive us the remainder of the way, I called the local taxi service and then we began to wait, not to long later we saw a taxi drive past us only to find out that it completely drove past the studios After a while we started walking again, we walked some good part of the way until we reached a petrol station.

We were standing there exhausted we knew that we needed to hydrate ourselfs and then we went into the petrol station shop and bought a 2L bottle of lemonade. We started to walk once again this time taking a sip of lemonade when ever we felt like we needed to, at times we couldnt even walk on the road or footpath and therefore we walked on the grass. We were getting quite hot and therefore we took our hoodies off and tied them around our waists.

We eventually came across a mcdonalds and then we decided to buy 2 mcflurries (one each). Once we got our mcflurries we began eating them . That is when I had got a text from my brother that we were to get back now. We finished our lemonade and our mcflurries and called a taxi so we could get back.

All of a sudden toaster bites his tongue and it starts bleeding, I burst into laughter and say " Maybe we should exchange that taxi for an ambulance" , as a joke. toaster goes back into the mcdonalds to get some ice for his tongue while he is in there i stand outside for our taxi ride back, the taxi eventually arrives and i tell the driver to wait for toaster, once toaster comes back out we get in the taxi and tell the driver to take us to a corner shop not too far from toasters house. Whilst in the taxi toaster finds out that instead of ice in a cup he gets only cola, funny isnt it???.

Once we reach that corner shop we pay the taxi driver and walked back to toasters house. We now realise that the whole point of the journey was to get a James Bond CD but we never managed to reach Cex.
