LIFE UPDATE + THE FUTURE OF HAZY MIRROR

Hello everyone! Hope you guys are doing well.

It's been a hot minute since the last page and for that I would like to apologize for the lack of progress. 2023 hasn't been very kind to me, went through a lot of grief, struggles, and overall a mess in my life. So I was not able to work on the pages. As the matter of fact, I have not been able to work on pages for the past few months, and it's not just due to external factors.

I've been feeling stumped on the current arc, both pacing-wise and creative-wise. Though this arc had already been planned, I felt like it's a big waste of filler to get the story pace going. And because of what's been going on, I've lost motivation on keeping the arc going. It also didn't helped the fact that one of the cameos, who are usually my friends, was admitted to be something that I do not stand for. Meaning "Chapter 01, Arc: Hourly Comics" will NO LONGER BE CANON and therefore WILL BE DELETED from the comics.

This does not mean I'll discontinue the comic. No way. Hazy Mirror has changed my life, for better and for worse, and I still have a ton of adventures I would love to share you all. It's already in an unannounced hiatus, and it will continue to be so until I can put "fun" in stupid fun once again.

So for now, let me take my time to revise and rework my comic, especially for a replacement to connect the next arc. I'll also be changing some things in the future as I do not want my work to be affiliate with a certain person any longer. It's my story after all, even before it all came to be.

Folks, friends, y’all…. esk*mo is a slur. I understand a lot of people don’t know that, I don’t want to be a dick about it, but I’ve been seeing it in fics. Wanna write “esk*mo kisses”? Just say “nuzzled noses” or something.

I’m not here to call anybody out, it’s been in multiple fics, I’m not vague posting. This is just a psa. 👍🏻
