as the train chugged along, the two must’ve nodded off. lights blinked on as they reached the station causing the male to wipe at his face. “no worries,” he rasps, still groggy from his sleeping. as the femme checks his phone, jamie does the same only to be met by a few dozen texts. his band groupchat was already going off about the tmz report. ‘DUDE. ARE YOU WITH ROXY ???’ next, his manager and publicist only offered a ‘call me. now.’ he can only purse his lips, attention focusing on her and the image on her phone. “fuck,” he groans, “well, i’m glad one of us is having a good time about it.” by now, he’s got his duffle bag and headed off the train. luckily, the hotel happens to be across from the station. as the two enter through the revolving door, they’re greeted by one of the staff and given a two keys to one room. although jamie hadn’t really specified which kind he wanted, the male figured that two guests usually translated to two beds. as he pushes the door open, the pair is greeted with only a queen bed. “i thought i said ──” sharp breath cutting himself off, “i can sleep on the floor or get another room.” 

          “ yeah i imagine being famous loses its allure fairly quickly, ” she offered him a sympathetic smile and grabbed her bag, following him off the car. it was colder in chicago than she had imagined, and she was thankful that their hotel was across the street. she noticed some people staring at them, she assumed this was just something she’d have to get used to. he was famous now, he wasn’t just anybody walking down the street. upon entering their room for the night roxy’s smile faded at the obvious issue. “ no, don’t do that, ” she nearly interrupted him as he talked about sleeping on the floor. “ it’s nice room, and it’s not like we haven’t shared a bed before... it’ll be fine, ” she finished with a smile. sure, the last time they shared a bed was before either of them went through puberty but the fact of the matter still stood. she set her bag down on a chair, pulling off her outer layers until of clothing until she was most comfortable in her tank top and leggings. “ you still sleep in that matching dinosaur pj set ? ” she asked jokingly, grinning over at him.
