Always the troublemaker. “I see that you are still a handful knight, Sir Mordred.” A fellow bastard whose personality is refreshing to say the least. “I am where I must be. Surely your time to be pressed is better spent in far more productive things?”
@astylch replied to your post: What the hell? It’s so loud all of a sudden.

“The hell are you looking at, Galadumb?”
There’s a scoff as he rests a hand on his hip.
“Seriously, shouldn’t you be somewhere else instead of being around me?”

Ah... to think that a child of Caster’s stature would have such an eerily deep voice. Sir Galahad assumed that there was no taking the cake away from Sir Bors. Chaldea was beginning to exceed his expectations. He cleared his throat and his usual stern expression returned to his face. “Forgive me but I must disappoint. This day of mine is not as fruitful as it should be, my lord.” Regardless of the other’s age, his politeness will remain.

A tired yawn escapes the exhausted master. She leaned lazily against the counter, waiting for the coffee machine to finish brewing. Well, the magus needed some form of caffeine this morning at least. Gabriella was leaning on the counter, elbows slowly slipping without her realizing. Looks like she needs a wake-up call.
Tumblr media
Such a tired mess. Saber cannot blame her. The summoning ritual must have taken a huge toll upon her being. Even so, was it normal for one’s leaned elbows to slip and not fall off so carelessly? Before things could get worse from here, he had already moved to lift her arms and position them better above the counter’s surface. It would not do if she were to accidentally harm herself due to her own drowsiness.
“Master, perhaps more sleep is in proper?”

“Fair weather is it not, Sir Galahad?” (From Gawain)
Tumblr media
“Greetings, Sir Gawain. My apologies, I did not see you there.” The Knight of the Shield had been quietly gawking ahead, in daze at the peaceful view of the vast sky. The wide space of blue had been enough to captivate him and give off few reminders of days that had gone by. Battling for the sake of humanity’s safety was no easy feat. There were doubts in his mind. He was known to succeed in anything that he puts his mind into. This task, however, seemed above even for someone of his caliber. “Fair is the weather, indeed. No fairer than the sight of a companion easily yearned. Care to join me on this fine day?”

That much is expected for Knights of their station. If their King is present, it should come off as no surprise that his men will follow. A pleasant realization to find majority of his superiors here, yet disappointing all the same that they're not, under any circumstance, complete. Perhaps that much is better, for those good men deserve to rest. This fight they can finish on their own. They have honored the King's name enough.
Tumblr media
Sir Galahad nodded in understanding, his shocked expression subtle in response to the sudden plea for assistance. "What kind of Knight would I be if I cannot offer that much to one of my brothers?" Superior or not, in the battlefield they all stand equal and fight as one. "I know what I know. What I lack, we shall seek in the lips of another. Pray tell what it is that you wish to learn about first and foremost, Sir Agravain?"
@astylch from [ x ]
“As always I follow our King, wherever he may lead,” he stated. “He is here, so it should be unsurprising I too would end up here.”
“Gawain, Mordred, and Gareth, and Gahaeris are here too,” he said. “I would not be an absentee brother as I was when Gareth and Gaeheris were slain.” If he had been there, they would not have died. But, he was dead. He had failed them, in this.
Tumblr media
“…usually I am the punctual one. It seems this time, I am late.”
He was silent a moment, though.
“…If what they say is true, you have been longer than anyone. If I am to be able to serve out King properly once more I will need to understand this place, it’s ways, and every inch of its space. I wished to ask your assistance, in learning such things.”

For how long will her fingers ghost against his face? It seemed to last for an eternity for all the good it has done to him. Sir Galahad was a stranger to womanly affections. He had averted his gaze from mundane temptations, had deprived himself of the right to live and love with a woman by his side. To be touched now regardless of the nature and intent behind it had only left him puzzled, if not briefly uncomfortable. The maiden before him is wonderful without a doubt. As it were, he had devoted himself in the company of the Lord. Thus, even now he could not see himself appreciating such a thing or even yearn for it when it came down to it. Perhaps he must beg for his personal space to be returned?
As if his meek thoughts had been heard, she beckoned her arm back. Relief washed away the concerns of the ever chaste and pure Sir Galahad. "Where the King is, we follow. Not out of sense of duty, but because we were made for it." He felt honored to hear her words, as he must, for compliments were often given from the honest heart. "We are no longer bound in the green lands of Camelot or Britain. However, know that I will still attend to your wants if you have mighty need for it, my lady."
Tumblr media
he was asking… how she fared?
startled, she found that her initial thoughts had been replaced by newer, far less carefully crafted ideas. never had she expected for a knight of Arthur’s (Arturia’s) court to treat her as little more than a nuisance or, at the very least, with unimaginable disdain for her crimes against Camelot and it’s Queen. to despise her for her existence, seeing  that is, if they recognized her at all, and hadn’t merely mistaken her for faire Gwenhwyfar.
although such could still be the case… or, perhaps, he did not care for such trivialities. as things stood, were they not fighting along side one another for better or for worse, summoned by the same Master for the sake of humanity’s fading light.
her touch lingered longer than she had intended, the warmth of his skin seeping into her own. a part of her, small and weak, wished to let her hand linger further still, for so touch starved was the Avenger. it was a weakness, best snuffed out before it might cause some trouble in the future. at last her hand dropped to her side, fingers curling loosely.
❛ I am… well, Sir Galahad. far better shall I be knowing that another of our King’s knights has joined our ranks. ❜

"Galahad."
Tumblr media
“You have called for me, Sir Agravain?” For what reason lied behind it, it was yet to be revealed. No matter, Sir Galahad trusts that the approach had not been made with ill intentions. After all, he knew his superiors well. To their most vulnerable and to their best conditions. He lowered his head, a polite gesture. “I did not think you would be here. Why, a Knight of your caliber would usually think twice about such a thing.”

Shielder had always found himself uneasy in the company of women. He’s a man who had died not knowing what it meant to be touched with love and what it felt to have a maiden’s hand clasped with his. He was born with the physique to protect, yet all he ever guarded was the safety of anyone else aside from his own. Still, it’d be a huge misconduct on his part to avert his gaze and not pay his respects. He lowered his head slightly, greeting the woman.
Tumblr media
“A good day to you, my lady.” He would greet her with her name if he was no stranger to it. Perhaps a good time to ask had finally come. “Fair is the morning along these peaceful halls. I trust that you have been well under Chaldea’s modest care?”

"Gala -had." His expression was almost unreadable aside from his eyes that were clearly taken a back by the sight of his son. "To be united like this again, I-", he wasn't able to find the words to express the mix of thoughts of feels he had at the moment. "Would you like to train together?"
Tumblr media
Being called forth seemed natural at this point. In fact, he had been here earlier. The opportunity to awaken had only been received by him recently. Did this reunion permitted his heart to be happy or isolated? A familiar companion is always a welcome sight, he figured. Sir Galahad addressed his superior as he should– a brief bow of respect with no signs of casualty between them. After all, they are brothers-in-arms.
“Rest easy, Sir Lancelot.” Whatever it was that caused the elder Knight’s words to falter, it must leave. Sir Galahad has no intention to make his staying here a hindrance. “If training is demanded, then I shall participate.” Was he, perhaps, being abundantly stiff? Well, he was never known to smile in great lengths. “With you in Chaldea’s ranks, no doubt there is hope for humanity to cling onto.”
